MATERIALS:

Hook N° 4 mm
Worsted weight acrylic yarn #4
I used: El gato expres
Red #42-J/ 30g. approx.
Blue #66-B / 30g. approx.
Skin color #09/ 50g. approx.
Black #99-B/ 30g. approx.
Light grey #J84-C / 10g. approx
Yellow #04-B / 15g. approx
White #00-P / 10g. approx
Black super fine yarn to embroider eyelashes and eyebrows
Red super fine yarn to embroider mouth
White super fine yarn to embroider the details
Thread and Needle
Star shaped button
2 (12mm) safety eyes
yarn needle
stitch marker
scissors
pins
Fiberfill or stuffing of choice

ABBREVIATIONS:

R = Round
MR= magic ring
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
inc = increase (2 sc in one st)
dec = decrease (sc 2 together)
inv dec = invisible decrease
FLO = front loop only
BLO = back loop only
sts (s) = stitches (s)
sl st = slip stitch
rep = repeat
* * = repeat work between asterisks as indicated
( ) = number of stitches you should have at the end of your round

PATTERN

ARMS MAKE 2 SKIN COLOR YARN

R1.- Start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)

R2.- inc in each stitch around (12)

R3-4.- 1 sc in each stitch around (12)

R5.- *inv dec, 2 sc* rep 3 times (9)

CHANGE TO LIGHT GREY YARN

R6-8.- 1 sc in each stitch around (9)

CHANGE TO SKIN COLOR YARN

R9.- BLO 1 sc in each stitch around (9)

R10-12.- 1 sc in each stitch around (9)

R13.- inv dec, 7 sc (8)

Stuff firmly.

R14.- fold the arm and make 3 sc, both sides together to close.

Fasten off and make another one.

LEGS MAKE 2 RED YARN

R1.- Start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)

R2.- inc in each stitch around (12)

R3.- *1 sc, inc* rep 6 times (18)

R4.- *2 sc, inc* rep 6 times (24)

R5.- BLO 1 sc in each stitch around (24)

R6.- 8 sc, 4 inv dec, 8 sc (20)

R7.- 6 sc, 4 inv dec, 6 sc (16)

R8-11.- 1 sc in each stitch around (16)

CHANGE TO SKIN COLOR YARN

R12.- BLO 1 sc in each stitch around (16)

R13-15.- 1 sc in each stitch around (16)

Stuff firmly, fasten off .

We are going to continue with RED yarn in


the back side of round # 5

FLO: 1 sc in each chain, sl st in the first sc.

Fasten off.

We are going to continue with WHITE yarn


in the back side of round # 12

FLO: 5 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 5 sc, sl st in


the first sc.

fasten off.

Embroider a white line in the middle.

Make a second leg, DO NOT cut the yarn at


the end.

BODY

CHANGE TO BLUE YARN

Second leg make 6 sc and chain 3. now


join the legs, count 3 sc of the first leg.
see picture # 3 , place your stitch marker
in the first sc.

R16.- Make 16 sc , 3 sc over the chain


taking only one strand , 16 sc , 3 sc over
the chain taking only one strand (38)

R17-18.- 1 sc in each stitch around (38)

R19.- * 17 sc, inv dec* rep 2 times (36)

R20-21.- 1 sc in each stitch around (36)

CHANGE TO YELLOW YARN

R22.- BLO 1 sc in each stitch around (36)

With white yarn we embroider a
few stars

CHANGE TO RED YARN

R23.- BLO * 4 sc, dec * rep 6 times (30)

R24-26.- 1 sc in each stitch around (30)

R27.- * 3 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (24)

R28.- 1 sc in each stitch around (24)

We are going to continue with YELLOW


yarn in the back side of round # 22

FLO: 16 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 17 sc, sl st in


the first sc.

fasten off.

CHANGE TO SKIN COLOR YARN

R29.- BLO 6 sc, we place the arm to join


the body

through the 4 strands and we make 3 sc,


continued with BLO 9 sc

Place the second arm through the 4


strands and make 3 sc, and finish the
round with BLO 3 sc (24)

R30.- * inv dec, 2 sc* rep 6 times (18)

R31-32.- 1 sc in each stitch around (18)

With our needle and yellow yarn


embroider a W, between round 28
and 27. see pictures 1 to 9.

HEAD

R33.- * 2 sc, inc * rep 6 times (24)

R34.- * 3 sc, inc * rep 6 times (30)

R35.- * 4 sc, inc * rep 6 times (36)

R38-47 .- 1 sc in each stitch around (48)

R48.-* 6 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (42)

R49.- BLO * 5 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (36)

¡Start stuffing as you go!

Place safety eyes between round


44 and 43. 5 stitches apart.

With our needle and a long strand


of skin color yarn, make one stitch
to the sides of each eye. see
picture 1 to 8.

We push both eyes with our fingers


while we carefully pull the yarn with
the other hand.

After we have made sure the eyes are a


little sunken, we make knots so that it
does not come loose

Embroider nose between rounds

Embroider mouth in round 39
Embroider eyelashes, and
eyebrows in round 46

R50.-* 4 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (30)

R51.-* 3 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (24)

R52.-* 2 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (18)

Stuff firmly

R53.-* 1 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (12)

R54.- * inv dec * rep 6 times (6)

Stuff firmly, fasten off.

EARS MAKE 2 SKIN COLOR YARN

1.- 5 sc in a magic ring (5)

We close it in half to form an ear, we make


1 chain and cut leaving a long thread.

Sew ears between rounds 43 to 41


With 5 stitches apart between the
eye and the ear.

CROWN YELLOW YARN

1.- Make 10 chains, start in the 2nd chain


from the hook and make 3sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1
hdc, 3 sc.

Fasten off and leave a long tail for


sewing, and sew the star button.
We sew the crown on the FLO that
we left on round # 49

HAIR BLACK YARN

R1.- Start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)

R2.- inc in each stitch around (12)

R3.- inc in each stitch around (24)

R4.- 1 sc in each stitch around (24)

1.- Make 27 chains, start in the 2nd chain


from the hook and make 26 sc, sl st in the
next st.

2-19.- Repeat the same steps until you


have 19 strands of hair.

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Pin the top of hair and Pin the


bottom row of hair equally, at the
height of the ears, covering all
spaces .
With our yarn needle we sew the
top and the bottom hair

LASSO OF TRUTH YELLOW YARN

1.- Make 40 chains, fasten off and leave a
long tail for sewing.

Wrap around your fingers twice


make a knot, and sew it aside.
