Coffee Pot Body

Attention! Do not use the mismatched increases

technique on this piece. The aligned increases will give
the hexagonal shape that we want to keep.

With the gray yarn:

1) 6sc in the MR
2) 6inc [12]
3) (1sc, 1inc) x6 [18]
4) (2sc, 1inc) x6 [24]
5) (3sc, 1inc) x6 [30]
6) (4sc, 1inc) x6 [36]

This round will be worked differently: add 1ch between

the single crochet stitches of the increases (you will do
1sc, 1ch, 1sc in the same stitch).
7) (5sc, 1inc) x6 [42]

In this next round ignore the previous chains. They serve

only to give the piece a more pointed appearance.
8) 42sc in the third loop (or bpsc)

Glue a piece of acetate or cardboard to the base of the

piece so that it will stand upright.

9 to 14) 42sc - 6 rounds
15) (5sc, 1dim) x6 [36]
16) BLO: 36sl st

will disappear.)
20) (5sc, 1inc) x6 [42]
21 to 23) 42sc - 3 rounds
24) (6sc, 1inc) x6 [48]
25 and 26) 48sc - 2 rounds

The next round is worked in the same

way as round 7, making 1ch between
the single crochet stitches of the
increases:
27) (7sc, 1inc) x6 [54]

Finish off and hide the yarn scraps.

Place stuffing halfway up the piece.

TIP: Adjust the stuffing with a felting needle.
