11. What is Bonus? Explain the eligibility for and disqualifications for bonus under the Payment of Bonus Act,

16. Mahesh is employed in a Chocolate factory and is paid Rs,6000/- per month as wages. A sum of Rs.700/- is
deducted towards house accommodation, Rs, 2000/- is deducted towards loan borrowed from housing co-operative
society, Rs. 1200/- is deducted for LIC premium, Rs.300/- is deducted for repayment of EPF advance, Rs.100/- id
deducted towards trade union membership and Rs.1000/- is deducted as per orders of court. Decide the validity of
deduction.
