15. Akbar Hussain service came to an end after completing a period of 14 years in a sugar factory. He claimed
gratuity at the rate of 15 days wages for each completed year of Service. However, he was paid gratuity at the rate
of7 days vwages for cach year of service. Decide.

16. Mahesh is employed in a Chocolate factory and is paid Rs,6000/- per month as wages. A sum of Rs.700/- is
deducted towards house accommodation, Rs, 2000/- is deducted towards loan borrowed from housing co-operative
society, Rs. 1200/- is deducted for LIC premium, Rs.300/- is deducted for repayment of EPF advance, Rs.100/- id
deducted towards trade union membership and Rs.1000/- is deducted as per orders of court. Decide the validity of
deduction.

17. X'a boy (child labour) aged 14 years causes loss to the machinery willfully. Can the employer deduct the value
