About three years ago, I had an experience that made me panic. It was my first
time to take a bus by myself. Furthermore, I just moved to Solo because my dad
had to work there.
My dad always took me to the school and picked me up at noon because it was
quite far from home. Actually, I had not memorized the way from home to school
until I tried to go by bus.
It was the first week of me studying in junior high school. My parents called me
that they couldn’t pick me up because they were in another town. They told me
to take a bus.
I didn’t have an idea which bus that I should take. Then I asked one of my
teacher. He said, “Just take the bus number 2, then get off at the fourth stop. You
can walk to your house from that place.”
I went to the bus stop near my school. Bus number 2 was coming and I prepared
myself. I got a seat in the back. I made myself as comfortable as possible and
looked at the street through the window. I was so tired that I couldn’t open my
eyes, then I fell asleep.
There was a horn sound and it woke me up. The bus was about to stop and I
immediately got off. The bus left. Then I realized that I didn’t know whether the
stop was the fourth one or not. I didn’t recognize the street or the buildings
around it.
I almost cried since I didn’t know what to do. I only had one thousand rupiah left.
Suddenly, a grey car stopped in front of me. My uncle got out of that car and
approached me. He just met his client in the café near the bus stop. He asked
me why I was alone in that area and I told him the reasons. He laughed at me
when I told him that I fell asleep in the bus. After that, my uncle took me home.
I was very grateful because my uncle passed by at that time. My mom then
asked me to go to school by bus on the weekend then went home by bus again
so that I could memorize it. Now I almost memorize all the corners of the city
since it is my fourth year in Solo.

Marine turtles are found in most of the world’s oceans, apart from cold polar seas. They tend
to spend their lives in relatively shallow continental shelf waters. Once mature, male turtles
never leave the sea, but females come ashore to lay eggs, typically on the same sandy
beach where they themselves hatched. But we do know at least six of the seven species are
at risk of extinction.

4 years ago, I had to go away from my parents and live alone because at that time I had
become a university student.
At first, I thought that living alone would be fun, because I was finally free from the curfew
and the various restrictions given by my parents. But it turned out living alone had its own
difficulties.
I felt lonely very often, especially during the first year I lived alone. The feeling of wanting to
continue contacting and talking to my parents grew bigger. I became aware that I had
underestimated the togetherness we had all along.
I also had a hard time getting help when I got into troubles. It felt like people did not want to
help me and they just let me handle my problems alone. This sometimes made me very
frustrated.
4 years of living alone taught me about longing for family and independence.

Last week was probably the most chaotic week in May this year. I felt like I made a lot of
mess that week, both at work and in my circle of friends.
First, I messed up the division meeting on Monday morning. I accidentally took the wrong
document and left the correct one on my desk, which made my division head very angry with
me.
Second, on a Thursday night, because I was busy towards the end of the month and I had to
work late, I did not come to Marcia’s birthday party, which made her furious because I had
promised her, and she did not want to talk to me.
Everything that happened to me last week really made me sad and disappointed in myself.

Two weeks ago, I spent quarantining myself, because I contracted the virus that still affects
many people to this day.
I did not do much during my quarantine for the past two weeks. I was still able to work from
home, since I was a freelancer. I chatted with my family via video call. I also took as much
rest as I need, took medicine and vitamins to help me fight this virus from the inside.
My experience being a patient of this virus and my days during quarantine have been
valuable and it taught me about health and vigilance.

When I was a kid, I always dreamed of being a villain. I imagined myself as a

pirate. One day, when I was on vacation at the beach, I saw many boats and
fishermen.
At first, I just sat and played in the sand on the beach. I began to realize that I
was the master of the sea, a brave pirate captain.
Then when I was watching the waves, suddenly a child approached me. He was a
crew member, who would accompany me to travel around the ocean.
I did nothing like the pirates at the movie, that stealing maps and looking for
treasure. I was an exploring pirate. I just sail around the ocean and enjoy nature.
I use my power only to seek pleasure.

Once upon a time, in a magical forest nestled deep within the mountains, I embarked on an
extraordinary adventure. It all started when I stumbled upon a hidden, overgrown trail that
led me to a secret clearing where a shimmering portal awaited.
Without hesitation, I stepped through the portal and found myself in a world unlike any other.
The sky was painted in shades of lavender and gold, and the trees had leaves that twinkled
like stars. As I explored this enchanting land, I encountered talking animals, each with its
own unique wisdom to share. The trees whispered secrets, and the river sang melodious
songs.
In this fantastical realm, I made friends with a mischievous yet kind-hearted fairy who guided
me on a quest to find a legendary crystal that held the power to heal the land. We faced
challenges, including solving riddles posed by ancient spirits and outsmarting a cunning
forest creature who guarded the crystal.
After many thrilling adventures, we finally located the crystal, which radiated with a warm,
healing light. With the crystal in hand, we returned to the magical clearing and used its
power to restore balance to the forest, bringing back vibrant life to every corner of this
wondrous world.
As I bid farewell to my new friends and stepped back through the portal, I couldn't help but
smile, knowing that the memories of this fantastical adventure would stay with me forever.
Back in the real world, I carried the magic of that imaginative journey in my heart, forever
grateful for the enchanting experience.

On November 5th, 2023, a total solar eclipse occurred over several parts of South America.
This rare astronomical event was visible in regions of Chile and Argentina. The eclipse
began at 10:00 AM local time and reached its peak totality at 11:30 AM, lasting for
approximately 2 minutes.
Thousands of people gathered at designated viewing spots to witness this spectacular
natural phenomenon. Scientists and astronomy enthusiasts had been preparing for this
event for months, and they set up telescopes and observation equipment to study the
eclipse's effects on the surrounding environment.
During the eclipse, the moon completely blocked the sun, casting a shadow over the
landscape and causing a noticeable drop in temperature. Birds and wildlife became
momentarily disoriented, and the sudden darkness created a surreal atmosphere.
Observers marveled at the corona, the sun's outer atmosphere, which became visible during
totality. It was an awe-inspiring moment for all those in attendance, and many people
captured the eclipse through photography and video recordings.
The event concluded as the moon continued its path, gradually revealing the sun. Scientists
collected valuable data, and the general public experienced a rare and memorable celestial
event.
The next total solar eclipse in this region is expected in several years, making this event a
remarkable and scientifically significant occurrence.

Being a princess is never an easy task. That also applied for Princess Adelle. Her day was
never easy.

It was the first day of 2017 and Princess Adelle was very tired because she was up all night,
attending The New Year’s Eve event in the Royal Palace. She woke up at 6 a.m. She should
be ready before 8 a.m., so she washed herself and put on the dress that had been prepared
for her by her assistant. After that, she had breakfast with the member of the royal family. At
9 a.m., she went to a charity event for the orphans held by several social institutions of the
country.

After lunch, she continued her schedule to attend the inauguration of a new public school
near the palace. She arrived back at the palace at 3 p.m. and attended her riding class with
her instructor. She finished her riding class at 6 p.m. and prepared herself for dinner with the
member of the royal family. She finally went back to her room at 8 p.m. She threw herself in
bed immediately because she felt really tired and wanted to take a rest so badly.

One day felt so long for Princess Adelle and it was only one sample of her schedules for a
day. Sometimes, the schedules were even tighter than this.
