Innovative Idea Competition


Guidelines and Rules

1. Eligibility Criteria
 Open to all stream students of Engineering who are currently Enrolled in
the Institution.
 Each team must consist of 1- 4 Members.
 Team members can be from different departments or academic years
within the same institution.

2. Registration Process
 Teams must register online through the official registration form.
 A registration fee (Rs100) should be paid before the deadline.

3. Idea Submission Guidelines


 Ideas must be original and not plagiarized.
 The idea should aim to solve a real-world problem or provide an
innovative improvement in any field (e.g., technology, healthcare,
sustainability, etc.).
 Presentation format:
o Title of the Idea.
o Problem Statement.
o Proposed Solution.
o Implementation Plan.
o Expected Impact/Benefits.
o Optional: Supporting diagrams, images, model, a video
presentation (up to 2 minutes).

4. Evaluation Criteria
 Innovation (30%): Originality and creativity of the idea.
 Feasibility (20%): Practicality of implementing the idea.
 Impact (20%): Potential to solve a real-world problem or provide
significant benefits.
 Presentation (15%): Clarity, structure, and engagement.
 Team Collaboration (15%): Coordination & efforts taken by the team.
5. Competition Rounds
1. Presentation Round:
o Teams will present their ideas to a panel of judges within 10
minutes.
o This will include a 3-minute Q&A session with the judges.
2. Final Round:
o Prototypes are encouraged but not mandatory.
o Judging will focus on creativity, practicality, and effectiveness.

6. Rules and Regulations


 A participant can be part of only one team.
 Teams must adhere to all deadlines for submission and presentations.
 Plagiarism or intellectual property theft will lead to immediate
disqualification.
 Decisions by the panel of judges are final and binding.
 Any changes to rules or timelines will be communicated to participants.
7. Prizes and Recognition
 Winner: Certificate, and Cash Prize of INR 2000
 Runner-Up: Certificate, and Cash Prize of INR 1000.
 Best Innovative Poster Award: Prize of INR 15000.
 All participants will receive Certificates of Participation.
 Exceptional ideas may receive mentorship for further development.

8. General Instructions
 Teams are encouraged to attend the orientation session before the
competition.
 Maintain professionalism and decorum throughout the event.
 Queries and clarifications should be directed to the organizing committee.
