Notes:
Adjustable ring = Wrap yarn into a ring ensuring that the tail falls behind the working yarn. Grip ring and
tail between middle finger and thumb. Insert hook through center of ring, yarn over (with working yarn)
and draw up a loop. Work stitches of the first round in the ring. After the first round of stitches are
worked, pull gently on tail to tighten ring.
The earring is constructed from the center.
Changing color - when the pattern indicates a change color, work last stitch of old color to last yarn over.
Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook. Fasten off old color. Proceed with new
color.
I used a sewing needle instead of a yarn needle to weave in the tails/ends of the embroidery floss I find
it works better for this small project.
Place a stitch marker in the first stitch of the first round and move up each round.
The needle nose pliers will be used to open and close up the loop of the fish hook earring wire in order
to attach the crochet earring to the fish hook earring wire.
Measurements:
Approximately 1 1/2” wide x 1 1/2” tall without the fish hook wire.
Finishing
Open the fish hook earring wire loop using your needle nose pliers, then insert into the top-most stitch
of the crochet earring next close up the fish hook earring wire loop.
Congratulations, you are finished making your earrings.
How cute is that?
