CamGirl Tips 2017:
Create a character
This is really a personal preference. I like to keep my personal life a total secret. I look really
young despite being 27...so I totally play that up. I've been done with college for about 4
years now lol. Darren tends to wear a lot of lacey lingerie, always rocks long hair, and is
incredibly sweet. In real life I'm pretty quiet and shy...usually I'm always in PJs haha. Other
personas that I've seen out there are: girl next door, sexy nerd, alternative, and glamour.
Obviously you don't have to create a character, but if you've always wanted to play around
with another persona I'd say go for it.
-This is a fantastic opportunity to buy random things that you would not normally wear.
Set a scene
Be prepare to cam when you turn your cam on. I always try to wear full makeup, have my
hair done, and toys are ready. It's also important to have the area that you're shooting in
clean...the last thing you want is to be called out for having an unmade bed or there being a
ton of junk all over the place. Plus it just comes down professionalism. If someone is giving
you money to put on a show make it the best show you can possibly give them. As much as I
love rocking PJs and a messy bun...the guys can usually tell if you're putting the effort in or
not.
-Too lazy to do your hair? Wigs are a total blessing. They also work for character personas!
-Hate your bed spread or worried about things getting messy (I did a show with oil a few
weeks ago) have a 'cam' comforter/blanket. I just toss that puppy on top of my bedspread
and I'm good to go.
Have firm prices/chatting limits
A lot of the guys will try to get over on you. I will chat with a guy for about 5 minutes before
moving into 'what are you into?' which is a nice way of saying 'are you interested in doing
something or not?' usually this will either open the opportunity to cam/create custom
content...or weed out the freeloaders. If they're broke/jobless/frugal/etc cut them loose. I
generally will just say something like 'aw bummer! Well hopefully we can have some fun
soon...I have to go [insert excuse here]'. Sure you probably don't have to walk the dog or
grab lunch...and they know that...but they're wasting your time.
For camming I usually charge $2 a minute for more vanilla acts and $3 for anything extra.
Photos are $1. For a lot of guys this is a lot of money, but it's not something that I
compromise. Some girls charge more and others charge less...do what makes you
comfortable. If a guy doesn't have the money then feel free to offer alternatives. Maybe he
only has $10...so you'll be willing to do a strip tease. Chances are if he's really hot and
bothered he won't mind paying the extra money to see what happens next after the 5
minutes are up.
Don't be a charity case
Many of the guys will see right through this regardless of it being true or not. I almost never
have a reason for money, if they ask I tell them that I'm a broke college student and that the
money typically goes towards buying myself something nice, my credit card, etc. Most of us
probably wouldn't like being called whores or sluts by the guys and most of the guys
probably would not appreciate being blatantly taken advantage of financially.
Be sincere!
I've met some pretty awesome fellows on this site. I have a handful of guys that I genuinely
enjoy talking with who will spontaneously pay me for my time which is super kind. If you're
having a conversation genuinely listen to what they are saying and try to have fun when
you're on the site. If you're not into anything that any of the guys on here are into...chances
are you'll be miserable and each minute you're working will seem like a decade. If you're not
comfortable with specific fetish or act don't offer it .
-Slow day? Send customized messages to the guys that have recently viewed your profile. If
it's ultra slow consider reaching out via live chat.
