Studying and living abroad

Nowadays, studying and living abroad is a serious question.

There are lots of different advantages and disadvantages of studying and living abroad. First, let
me show you the most reliable ones.
The first advantage what I want to show is that you can travel in the world and on weekends you
can visit nearby places, and during the autumn or the spring break you can travel even further,
even to neighboring countries.
On the other hand, you may feel homesick, and you may want to return to your family and
friends. And you need a lot of money to travel that much and also depending on the country you
want to go the prices of everyday items maybe more expensive than in your country.
With this in mind I would love to show you another advantage of studying and living abroad. If
you already know the language of the country you would like to go to then, you will be able to
talk to other people fluently, and even after this point you can learn a lot of new things about the
specific language.
In contrast with this if you do not know the local language, just for example English then, you
will have a rough time talking to other peoples or even with just understanding your professor at
school. Because of this language barrier you may have difficulty with the most normal things.
Fore example with going to the shop or buying a bus ticket. But to refer to the last paragraph, if
you know the language just not in a fluent way or not in a high level then you can learn even
more about the language.
After all this I think we can talk about our comfort zones. When you study abroad you have to
leave your comfort zone, and whit this you will learn a lot of new things about yourself, and
about how you can handle stressful situations.
Besides this you will get to know a whole new culture with lots of new people. You can make
new friends or even make international connections. But whit all these benefits you will have to
make quite a few changes in your life. You will need to adjust to these new people and their
culture. And this can be hard and even more difficult if you have to study at the same time, but
these new connections may become more useful them you think.
After all I think that studying and living abroad is a good thing, it has its downsides, but you will
learn a lot about your self and you will have opportunities that other students can only dream of.
