5. CONCLUSIONS

 In conclusion New Zealand and Ecuador are very different. This presentation

shows every single culture has their own ways of having fun. This is because in each country

is difficult to find the same conditions. So people tend to look for satisfying their needs and one

of them is to entertain. For instance, in Ecuador there are beautiful beaches, so people take

advantage of them and go there. But in New Zealand there are many mountains, so people go

hiking. People have the ability to adapt to their environment.

 Finally, hobbies help people build a healthy environment and develop useful

skills, which are going to contribute to have a balanced society. Where individuals are not only

full with responsibilities, but can also enjoy their lives and promote their creativity. So, it does

3
not matter what country you come from, because this is an applicable principle for everyone.

This presentation give some examples, showing that New Zealand hobbies and Ecuador hobbies

are recreational and also contribute positively to society.

 Hobbies or free time activities are an important part of our identity. What people

do, say or how they spend their spare time reflects the characteristics of their culture. Everyone

is like an open book, which anyone can read. And people use those facts to deduce conclusions

about others. For example, if someone’s leisure activity is swimming others assume that the

person loves sports. This may not be true, but that is how they are perceived.
