Position: Automotive Technician
• Receive repair orders and take to stall area
• Perform work as outlines on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership
and factory standards
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction using diagnosing equipment and perform repair as authorized
• Perform preventive maintenance, such as:
-Engine, air, aircon, fuel, ATF and oil filter replacement
-Brake fluid replacement and perform bleeding
-Coolant replacement
-Replacement of Engine drivebelt, timing belt, valve cover gasket, sparkplugs, brake pads and brake
shoes
• Performs AC cleaning, pulling down dashboard to clean and leak test the evaporator. Expansion valve
replacement, pulling down condenser to clean and perform a leak test, replace all related O-rings,
receiver dryer, recover vacuum and charge freon.
• Performs General works such as:
-Manual transmission pulldown to replace clutch components, shock absorbers, refaced rotor disc,
overhaul rack and pinion, overhaul disc brake caliper and wheel cylinder
-Replacement of drive shaft boot and drive shaft oil seal
-Replacement of rack end and tie rod end, stabilizer linkage and bushing as well as timing chain
components
• Performs troubleshooting on overheating engines, unusual noises, engine not starting, engine stalling,
low power, shift lock, AC malfunctions, MIL always ON
• Keeping workshop, equipment and personal tools clean and organized at all times
• Observe Toyota’s “5S” in the workplace (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain), developing
a productive work environment.
