CADD PLATE NO.5: Proposed Ideal House (AutoCAD + SketchUp)


INSTRUCTIONS/ OBJECTIVES:
1. Make a 3D of your proposed ideal house. You will use this as your source for Elevations and Sections. Discussion
of 3D rendering next meeting.
2. On a 20” x 30” paper, design, layout and plot the site development, plans, elevations, and sections of your proposed
ideal house for your family.
3. Follow the arrangement of the layout.
4. Site Development, show:
a. Show the landscaping (hardscape and softscape)
b. Show the roof the plan over site and dimension.
c. Scale can be smaller than of the plans to show the whole lot.
d. Proper line weights, line types, hatches, and dimensions.
5. Floor Plans, provide the following:
a. Furniture and fixture layout; Label each area or spaces.
b. Proper line weights, line types, hatches, and dimensions.
c. Provide the column grid following the given example.
d. Show at least two section lines, where your section plane will pass through the plan. See the given example.
6. Elevations and Sections, provide the following:
a. Show the natural grade line, ground floor finish, second floor, and roof apex level.
b. Proper line weights, line types, hatches, and dimensions.
c. Show the ceiling line in Sections
d. Provide the column grid following the given example.
e. If you can identify what finishes or materials applied to your façade, the better.
f. Label the spaces in Section.
