Measurement: 21 Inches tall.

Special Techniques: Crochet in spiral rounds = This doll is worked spiral rounds (do not Join) Use stich marker to
mark the beginning of each round.

How to finish your crochet work in the spiral round = This will help to minimize the jog in
height. Instructions: slip stich in the next st, fasten off, use a yarn needle, skip 1 st, insert the
needle in the next st, pull the yarn through (Pic # 1,2) insert the needle in the center of the last
st and pull the yarn through to secure. (pic # 3,4)

Change color with a single crochet = Instructions: Insert the hook in next st, yo, and draw up a
loop, you have two loops, instead of finishing the sc, add the second color and pull through 2
loops, fasten off the previous color and make a knot (see pictures).
Work on the BB of the chain = As the picture indicate instead of working de sc at the BL, work
the sc at the BB of the ch. this will allow to have sts to the both sides to work in spiral. Start the
spiral round where the arrow indicates in pic # 5.

Stuffing = when you fill arms and legs do it in small amount of fiber fill, little by little, that way
you can give a better shape, use bigger amount of fiber fill with pieces like head and body.
Amigurumi Assembly Pieces = Example: Make a sts in the body, pic # 1, then make a st (parallel
to the st of the body) at one of the sc of the piece you want to assembly, pic # 2, repeat the
same 2 times in the next sts and then pull firmly, pic # 3, repeat the same until you finish the
whole piece.

How to close the remaining holes = when you finish the head, for example, you will have a little
hole at least 6 sts, to finish or close this hole, sl st in the next st, fasten off and leave a tail, use a
needle, insert from the back to from and pull through all the way, make the same in every stitch
around, then pull the thread to close the hole, weave in all loose ends.

Special Stiches: Single crochet = insert the hook in the next st, yo, draw up a lp, yo, and pull through two lps.

Half-Double Crochet = yo, insert the hook in the next stitch, yo and draw up a lp, there are now
three loops on hook, yo and pull through three loops.

Double Crochet = yo, insert the hook in the next stitch, yo and draw up a lp, there are now three
loops on hook, yo and pull through the first two loops, there are now two loops on the hook, yo
and pull through both lps on the hook.

Slip Stich = Insert the hook in the next st, pull up a lp, pull the lp all the way through the lp on
your hook.

Increase sc = work two sc in the same sts.

Invisible decrease single crochet = Insert the hook in the 1st FL and into the 2nd FL of next st, yo
pull through two lps, yo, pull through two lps on the hook.

Increase dc (Inc_dc) = Work two double crochet in the same sts

Decrease dc (dc-2tog) = yo, insert the hook in indicated st, yo and draw up a lp, yo pull through

IMPORTANT: before you start this doll, read all the instructions, special techniques and special stitches you will use all
the techniques to make this doll.

Head
➢ The head is worked in spiral round, use Hook G/6-4.25MM and yarn color Light Brown.
➢ We will use yarn color Light Brown for the first 9 rounds, where we place the hair.

Face
➢ Place the eyes: Cut two circles of white felt, a little bigger than the size of the eyes, place the eyes in the
position that the felt look like a half moon, (must open a small hole in the felt to insert the pin of the eye)
Place the eyes between rounds 15 & 16 from the center of the head, leave 5 sts between eyes, put a small
amount of hot glue to secure the felt, with the black thread size 3, make 4 eyelashes as you seen in the picture
# 1. Do not forget to place the safety part behind the eyes. Make the nose 2 rds under the eyes and a smile 3
rds under the nose.
➢ If you like add color to the cheeks with a light pink marker.

Hair
➢ Cut strands approximately 30 Inch long as you seen it on picture #1, use yarn color Coffee.
➢ With a hook, place each strands, follow the shape (in spiral) of the head, staring at the center.
➢ Bend the strands in halft, place the hook (pictures # 1) pull trougth the strands with the hook.
➢ Pull the strands as in a sc trougth the loop (pictures #2) pull to secure until tie (pictures #3). For more details

➢ Work up to round # 9 where the color bronw ends.
Hat
Brim
➢ Use yarn color White and hook G/6-4.25MM (I use yarn color pink in the pictures just an example)

Rnd 1: 9 ch, 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 7 sc (8 sts)

Rnd 2: 1 ch (doesn’t count as sc) turn, 1 sc, 6 sc in the BLO, 1 sc (8 sts)

Rnd 3-64 Repeat round 2 until you have 16 ½ Inch long, approximately 64 rounds.

Back loop

Front loop

➢ Bring the two edges together (picture #1) and sl st in the two loops of one edge and join to the other loop of
the other edge (picture #2) do the same all the way to the end.

Flowers (make: 2 white, 1 orchid)
Rd:1 Magic ring, *3 ch (count as dc) 3 dc in the magic ring, sl st* crochet 5 times, Pull the thread to close the
magic ring, with yarn color orchid make some sts in the center of the flower, sew the flower at the
boot.

➢ Use snaps and sew it, as the arrows indicate in pic 2.

➢ Put ribbon of 1 cm wide arround the upper part of the dress and sew the Orchid flower as you seen in the pic,
you can add a faux pearl at the center of the flower or make some sts in white color.
➢ Bend all the wire tips, then cover it with fiber fill and secure with strands, from the neck to the ends should
not measure more than 3 ½ inches.
➢ Introduce the neck into the hole of the head, with the tail you left (of the head) sew every single crochet of
the head joining to the sts of neck. Leave one inch of neck (pictures 2)

➢ Make braids, and cut the hair to looks evenly, make 2 little bows to secure the braids.
