OBJECTIVE 13: 6.4.

3 Exhibit commitment to and support teachers in the

implementation of school policies and procedures to foster harmonious
relationships with learners, parents and other stakeholders.

As a highly proficient teacher, I take an active role in ensuring the consistent

implementation of school policies and procedures, recognizing that they are
essential in fostering harmonious relationships among learners, parents, and
other stakeholders. Beyond compliance, I exhibit commitment and leadership by
guiding fellow teachers in understanding, applying, and promoting school
policies to ensure a safe, organized, and conducive learning environment.

One of the key ways I support my colleagues is by conducting orientation sessions

and mentoring discussions about important DepEd and school policies. During
faculty meetings and Learning Action Cell (LAC) sessions, I facilitate
discussions on policies such as the Child Protection Policy (DepEd Order No. 40,
s. 2012), Anti-Bullying Act (RA 10627), and DepEd Order No. 13, s. 2018 (Basic
Education Enrollment Policy). By clarifying these guidelines, I help teachers
understand their responsibilities in ensuring child safety, proper student
conduct, and fair enrollment practices, ultimately promoting transparent and
effective school governance.

I also take an active role in supporting new and struggling teachers in

implementing classroom policies aligned with DepEd’s learner-centered
approach. I provide coaching on positive discipline strategies, ensuring that
classroom management techniques comply with the no corporal punishment
policy while still maintaining an atmosphere of respect and accountability. By
modeling effective communication techniques with students and parents, I
encourage teachers to develop positive and professional relationships with
stakeholders, fostering trust and cooperation in the school community.

Beyond faculty collaboration, I engage in school-community partnerships to

reinforce policies that benefit students’ holistic development. For example, I
coordinate with the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) to implement guidelines
on learner attendance, school uniform compliance, and student well-being
initiatives. Through open dialogue, we address parental concerns and ensure that
policies are understood, accepted, and effectively enforced. Additionally, I
organize and participate in school-wide initiatives, such as Brigada Eskwela and
child protection advocacy programs, to encourage stakeholder involvement in
school governance.

Moreover, I support the school administration in monitoring and evaluating the

effectiveness of school policies by gathering feedback from teachers, students,
and parents. I document best practices and challenges in policy implementation,
presenting these insights in school-based management (SBM) reports and
recommending improvements for a more inclusive and responsive school
environment.

Through my unwavering commitment to upholding school policies and guiding

colleagues in their proper implementation, I contribute to a harmonious, well-
structured, and student-centered learning community. By ensuring that policies
are not only followed but effectively integrated into daily teaching practices, I
help sustain an inclusive and supportive educational environment that nurtures
strong relationships among all school stakeholders.
