Part B. Plot Summary (5mins)
Fern stopped her dad from killing the smallest piglet, she petted him and named him
Wilbur . Wilbur made many friends in the barn including the rat, Templeton and
the spider, Charlotte who saved Wilbur from becoming a Christmas meal and helped
him win the contest of the county fair (小镇集会). Next spring, Charlotte died and Wilbur,
as her best friend, took care of all her babies.

About Charlotte’s Web

Charlotte’s Web is a children’s novel by American author E. B.
White. It was published in October 15, 1952, by Harper &
Brothers. The novel tells the story of a pig named Wilbur and
his friendship with a barn spider named Charlotte.
《夏洛特的网》是一个由美国作家E·B·怀特所著的儿童小说。
它于1952年10月15日由哈珀兄弟公司出版，讲述了一只名
