PROFILE OF THE PROGRAM/COURSE


Title

Rationale Nutrition Month serves as a reminder of the importance of


proper nutrition in building a healthy nation. For 2025, the
campaign highlights food and nutrition security as a human
right, emphasizing that every Filipino deserves access to safe,
affordable, and nutritious food. Recent data show that millions
of Filipinos continue to face hunger and food insecurity due to
poverty, limited resources, and climate change. These issues
affect not only physical health but also the ability to learn,
work, and live productively. Through this proposal, we aim to
support the goals of the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition
(PPAN) 2023–2028 by raising awareness, promoting healthy
food choices, and encouraging collective action in our
school/community. This initiative also strengthens our role in
addressing malnutrition and food insecurity in simple yet
meaningful ways.

Objectives
Objectives:

2. Support the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN)

3. Raise Awareness on Food Insecurity in the Philippines

4. Advocate for Policy and Program Strengthening

5. Promote the SAPAT Strategies Implement and promote: -


Strengthening of policies and programs - Amplifying public
awareness - Practicing sustainable food systems - Activating
multi-sectoral partnerships - Transforming food systems

6. Encourage Multi-sectoral and Community Participation
