MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT IN RELATION TO

BUHAY INGATAN, DROGA’Y AYAWAN (BIDA) PROGRAM

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

This agreement shall be made and executed this January 07, 2025 in Bautista Police Station, Bautista,
Pangasinan by and between;

The BAUTISTA POLICE STATION existing under the Republic Act No.: 8551 as amended and other
existing laws of the Philippines with principal office at Bautista, Pangasinan represented herein by the
Office of PCPT BRYAN B, PARICA..

--And--

The BARANGAY COUNCIL of BARANGAY CACANDONGAN, BAUTISTA, PANGASINAN represented by


Punong Barangay ROLANDO L. DE GUZMAN

WITNESSETH THAT

WHEREAS, the BAUTISTA POLICE STATION is the local enforcer in the Municipality of Bautista, with is
primarily objective to promote peace and order, ensure public safety and effective discharge its mandate of
performing police function, and be a service-oriented agency responsible for internal security operation.

WHEREAS, the BARANGAY COUNCIL has been doing public service particularly, the reporting
and monitoring of traffic and road station and conditions, accidents, community service, and all forms of
lawlessness committed with in the area of responsibility.

WHEREAS, the BARANGAY COUNCIL desires to have their public service work on the reporting
and monitoring such important events, traffic assistance and community service.

NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing, the parties hereto hereby agreed as follows:

The BAUTISTA POLICE STATION in the spirit of civic-mindedness and public service shall support
BARANGAY COUNCIL to air their respective reports and news development observed during activities
conducted by both parties within the area of responsibility in the interest of police service.

BARANGAY COUNCIL shall render true and factual and verifiable reports.

BARANGAY COUNCIL shall not receive any remuneration from BAUTISTA POLICE STATION for rendering
reports. BARANGAY COUNCIL must wear proper and authorized ID cards in assisting BAUTISTA POLICE
STATION in their public and community service works.

BARANGAY COUNCIL shall provide their own respective vehicles, portable two-way radios, necessary to
be used in their reports.

The BAUTISTA POLICE STATION shall recognize and support the public service work performed by
BARANGAY COUNCIL shall also recognize and support the BAUTISTA POLICE STATION in their mission
to provide services to the public as well.

BARANGAY COUNCIL shall hold the BAUTISTA POLICE STATION free from any responsibility in any
activities and reports made by the former.

IMPLEMENTATIONS. Both parties agreed to implement and cooperate jointly in accordance with the
provisions of this Agreement.

Other considerations, such as needs that may require in ensuring successful implementation of mutual
plans shall be addressed promptly by both parties.
Amendments to the Agreement must be mutually agreed upon by both parties.

Effectivity: This agreement shall take effect upon signing hereof by both parties and shall remain effective
for one year beginning from the date of signing.
