AFFIDAVIT

I, MARNY MANANGAN, Filipino, of legal age, married and


with residence at Barangay Baroro, Bacnotan, La Union, after having
been duly sworn in accordance with law, hereby depose and state
that:

1. I am the accused in Criminal Case No. 13721 entitled


“PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES v. MARNY MANANGAN” for Acts of
Lasciviousness in Relation to Sec. 5(b) of R.A. 7610 pending before
the Regional Trial Court, Branch 30, San Fernando City, La Union;

2. After sober and soul-searching assessment and analysis


and having been explained the nature of the crime against me as well
as its penalty by my Public Attorney Stephanie Joy A. Rolusta, I have
decided that I shall plead guilty as charged to the crime;

3. This is also to avail of the mitigating circumstance of


voluntary plea of guilty and be entitled to the minimum period of the
penalty;

4. I understand that after my plea of guilty, I will be meted


out a penalty of six years and one day to fourteen years of
imprisonment as discussed during the chamber conference last
January 20, 2021;

5. I am executing this affidavit voluntarily, free from any


form of coercion, threat, intimidation, compulsion or undue influence.
