1st contract.
ATHLETE CONTRACT AGREEMENT.
This agreement is made effective as of 3rd October 2024 between Athletics Kenya (AK) and
Mirriam Wangari an athlete.
This contract will begin on 24th January 2025 and conclude on 31st January 2025, unless
terminated earlier pursuant to the provisions set forth in this agreement.
The athlete agrees to participate in all scheduled games, practices, and team events maintaining
physical health and fitness, and represent the team with integrity both on and off the field at
Beijing.
The team agrees to pay the athlete a salary of KSH 10,000,000 with performance bonuses based
on specific metrics outlined in schedule A. the organization will cater for full transport and
accommodation during that time.
The athlete is exclusively banned from use of all hard drugs. He / she is also forced to adhere to
all rules and regulations given during the formation of the contract. Refrain from use of drugs
should begin a month before the contract dates.
This agreement may be terminated by the team if the athlete fails to meet performance standards
or engages in behavior detrimental to the team. The athlete may terminate this agreement with 30
days’ notice if the team fails to provide agreed-upon resources. Or incases of injuries or upon
death of the athlete.
Upon any dispute the arbitration method will apply to resolve the dispute. The organization will
have a right to upload the athlete’s photos and videos during the competition and after the
competition on social media platforms.
By signing this agreement both parties acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions
outlined above.

2nd contract.
ATHLETE CONTRACT AGREEMENT.
This agreement is made effective as of 3rd October 2024 between Tumaini Sports Club and
Mirriam Wangari an athlete to participate in the All Africa Athletics competitions.
The contract will be performed on 4th April 2025 unless termination occurs earlier under the
provisions set forth in this agreement.
The athlete has a responsibility to actively participate in all the games, team events and the
regular practices scheduled. It is the athlete obligation to maintain physical health and fitness
including following healthy diet routines, taking in a lot of water and avoiding drugs and
beverages that contain nicotine and caffeine. The athlete also has an obligation to be loyal to the
team and respect the team before, during and after the competitions.
The team agrees to pay a salary of KSH 5,000,000 with performance bonuses based on specific
metrics. Transport, shopping and accommodation will also be fully catered for during the
competition.
The agreement may be terminated by the team if the athlete fails to observe the rules and
regulations and failure to meet the performance standards. The athlete may terminate the contract
agreement with 30 days’ notice if the team fails to provide the agreed resources. Other instances
may be injury, accidents, serious illness or upon death of the athlete.
In case of any dispute a third party might be involved or a court order may be issued. The athlete
also allows their pictures and videos to circulate on the team’s social media platforms with or
without consent.

3rd contract.
ATHLETE CONTRACT AGREEMENT.
This agreement is made and entered into as of 3rd October 2024 between Kenya Kwanza Sport
Club and Mirriam Wangari to participate in the All Africa Athletics competition.
This agreement shall commence on 26th July 2024 unless terminated in accordance with the
provisions of this agreement.
Athlete agrees to perform all duties and obligations as a professional athletics player for the team
during the term of this agreement, including but not limited to participating in all practices,
games and team related events. The athlete agrees to maintain high level of physical fitness and
to comply with all team rules and regulations. Athlete agrees to conduct himself/herself in a
professional manner at all times, both on and off the court. Athlete agrees to participate in
reasonable promotional activities as requested by the team.
The team shall pay athlete a base salary of KSH 5,000,000. The team shall provide athlete with
housing allowance, travel expenses and athlete wear. Performance bonuses will also be given by
the team.
This agreement may be terminated by the team if athlete fails to perform his/her duties as
required by the agreement, athlete’s violation of teams rules and regulations, athlete’s conviction
of a felony or other serious crime, lastly athlete’s engaging in conduct that is detrimental to the
image or reputation. The athlete may terminate the agreement if the team fails to pay
compensations required in this agreement, team’s material breach of any other provision of the
agreement. If the athlete gets injured and unable to perform for as long as 4 number of games,
the team has an option to terminate the contract.
The athlete grants the team a non-exclusively license to use his/her image and likeness for
promotional and marketing purposes during the competition and after.
The agreement may be amended only by a written instrument signed by both parties.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration.
