Subject: Active monsoon conditions with enhanced rainfall activity over Gujarat state, Daman and Diu
and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.

Synoptic Situation:
 An upper air cyclonic circulation lies over northeast Rajasthan & neighbourhood and extends upto 1.5
km above mean sea level.
 Yesterday’s trough now runs from northeast Bangladesh to south Gujarat region across
cycloniccirculation associated with low pressure area over southwest Bihar and central parts of
MadhyaPradesh at 3.1 km above mean sea level.
Realised significant rainfall (≥ 7 cm ) during past 24 hours till 0830 IST of today, the 21st June,2025:
