MAIN FEATURES:
 Monsoon was active Gujarat region during past 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST of 26.06.2025; active Gujarat region;
  vigorous over Saurashtra- Kutch during past 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST of 27.06.2025; active over Gujarat region
  during past 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST of 29.06.2025; active over Saurashtra- Kutch during past 24 hours ending
  at 0830 hours IST of 30.06.2025; active over Saurashtra- Kutch during past 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST of
  01.07.2025.
 Very heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Tapi, Surat, Navsari, Narmada &
  Vadodara during past 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST of 26.06.2025; in the district of Gujarat region namely
  Sabarkantha & in the districts of Saurashtra- Kutch namely Junagadh and Gir Somnath during past 24 hours ending at
  0830 hours IST of 27.06.2025; at isolated places in the district of South Gujarat region namely Tapi during past 24 hours
  ending at 0830 hours IST of 02.07.2025.
 Heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Dangs, Surat, Tapi, Navsari,
  Narmada, Valsad, Panchmahal, Chhota Udepur & Vadodara during past 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST of
  26.06.2025; in the districts of Gujarat region namely Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Banaskantha, Patan, Aravalli, Navsari,
  Chhota Udepur, Valsad and in Daman & in the districts of Saurashtra- Kutch namely Porbandar, Dwarka, Amreli, Morbi
  and Jamnagar during past 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST of 27.06.2025; in the districts of Saurashtra- Kutch namely
  Dwarka and Kutch during past 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST of 28.06.2025; in the districts of Gujarat region namely
  Panchmahal, Navsari and Valsad during past 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST of 29.06.2025; in the districts of Gujarat
  region namely Mehsana and Ahmedabad during past 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST of 30.06.2025; in the districts of
  Gujarat region namely Panchmahal, Valsad, Tapi and Surat; in the districts of Saurashtra-Kutch namely Jamnagar,
  Porbandar and Junagadh during past 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST of 01.07.2025; at isolated places in the districts
  of South Gujarat region namely Valsad and in Dadra Nagar Haveli during past 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST of

SYNOPTIC SITUATIONS:
Last week’s trough ran from northeast Arabian Sea to low pressure area over northwest Bay of Bengal and
adjoining coastal areas of Odisha and West Bengal across south Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh
extending between 1.5 & 7.6 km above mean sea level on 26.06.2025; merged with the east-west trough on
27.06.2025.
An upper air cyclonic circulation laid over southwest Rajasthan extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea level
tilting southwest wards with height on 27.06.2025; became less marked on 28.06.2025.
An east-west trough ran from the cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan to Bangladesh across East
Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, north Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal extending up to 5.8 km above mean
sea level tilting southward with height on 27.06.2025; ran from the upper air cyclonic circulation over southwest
Bangladesh & adjoining Gangetic West Bengal to northeast Madhya Pradesh across Jharkhand, north
Chhattisgarh between 3.1 & 4.5 km above mean sea level and became un important for Gujarat on 28.06.2025;
ran from the upper air cyclonic circulation over south Rajasthan & adjoining north Gujarat to the cyclonic
circulation associated with the low-pressure area over northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal and
Bangladesh coasts across Madhya Pradesh, north Chhattisgarh and north Odisha between 3.1 & 5.8 km above
mean sea level tilting southward with height on 29.06.2025, became less marked on 30.06.2025.
  A trough ran from southeast Rajasthan to northwest Bay of Bengal across central Madhya Pradesh, north
   Chhattisgarh, the cyclonic circulation over south Jharkhand & neighbourhood, Gangetic West Bengal between
   0.9 km & 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height 02-07-2025.
 An upper air cyclonic circulation laid over central parts of north Arabian Sea extending upto 5.8 km above mean
 sea level on 29.06.2025, became less marked on 30.06.2025.
 An upper air cyclonic circulation laid over Saurashtra & Kutch & adjoining northeast Arabian sea extending
 upto middle tropospheric level tilting south westwards with height on 28.06.2025.
 Under the influence of the above upper air cyclonic circulation, a low-pressure area formed over Saurashtra &
 Kutch at 0830 hrs IST on 28.06.2025 with the associated upper air cyclonic circulation extending upto 7.6 km
 tilting southwards with height.
  The low-pressure area laid over Kutch & neighbourhood at 1430 hrs IST of 28.06.2025 with the associated
  upper air cyclonic circulation extending upto 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height; the
  low-pressure area became less marked on 29.06.2025. However, the associated cyclonic circulation laid over
  south Rajasthan & adjoining north Gujarat extending between 3.1 & 7.6 km above mean sea levels on
  29.06.2025; persisted and seen at 3.1 km above mean sea levels on 30.06.2025; became less marked on
  01.07.2025.
 The monsoon trough at mean sea level passes through Bikaner, Banasthali, Shivpuri, Siddhi, Chaibasa & Digha
  and thence southeastwards to eastcentral Bay of Bengal on 02-07-2025.
