Participants should report in their school uniform, carry their
school ID and bonafide certificates.
The students must be accompanied by 1 teacher coordinator.
A participant can participate in a maximum of 2 events ONLY.
Participants are expected to maintain the spirit of the event.
Any form of vulgarity will lead to direct disqualification.
The decision of the judges and event heads is final for all the
events.
Online registration through a Google form should be done on or
before 16th July 12 noon .
Checking of registration and bonafide submission on the days
of fest will be between 8:00 AM to 8:30AM in the school
campus
The mail IDs for submission events have been provided in the
rulebook as well as Instagram handle.
- Kindly Note:
“Both the inauguration and valediction sessions will feature
engaging lectures by distinguished academics, promising
enriching insights for all participants “
- Time limit : 3 minutes per team
- The event consists of three rounds.
- No. of participants per team: 3 , Only one team per school.

A card containing a science related word/picture will be


provided. It needs to be guessed within a time limit.
Certain words will be banned and they cannot be used as
clues. Points will be deducted if they are used.
After each word is guessed, the finder’s role will be rotated
amongst the three participants.
- Individual Event , No. of Rounds: 2
- Maximum Participants from each school: 2
- Preparation time: 5 minutes (internet usage is permitted)
Round 1: Debate will explore ethical issues (on-spot topic);
participants will take on assigned roles to defend their
viewpoints accordingly.
(Eg: Topic: Should we give up online privacy? Possible roles can
include: Netizen, Tech Company Executive, Security Expert)
Round 2: Topic will be given on spot. Qualified will compete.
Will be similar to an Oxford style debate.
- The event consists of three rounds.
- No. of participants per team: 3.
- Two teams per school.

It is a Science themed Jeopardy event with three rounds.


Round 1 : Jeopardy with 5 different topics Sci-fi, Astronomy,
Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each topic consists of five
questions. This will serve as an eliminator round.
Round 2 : Rapid fire where each team chooses a topic. They may
face Double Trouble: answer two questions to get the total
worthy points for a single question. No elimination will happen.
Round 3 : Surprise Round (instructions will be given on-spot)
- Individual event , Time limit : 7 mins per presentation
- Each participant can submit only 1 presentation
- Maximum participants per school: 2
Participants must choose an illogical topic and present a comedic
paper on the same. The paper must be roughly based on some
concept of science.

Presentation should be in a Ted-Talk like manner. (PPTs/ PDFs)

Choose a problem from INAO (by IAPT) from the years 2019-2024.

Present solutions of any 3 subdivisions of the problem where the


marks of the 3 subdivisions should add up to 10 marks (the marks
are specified in the question papers you look into).

The objective of the contest is not to test your memory skills but
to test how creatively you're able to find a solution to the problem.

- Only one team per school

Players will find themselves in a high stakes imaginary location


and will have to move through a storyline filled with science
based riddles and puzzles at crucial junctions.

The riddles will test survival skills, application of scientific


knowledge and quick thinking. Upon solving each riddle, find the
next clue and proceed.

The first team to find the treasure wins.


Usage of devices are prohibited.

- Themes - Importance of pollution control management ,
Coordination system of the human body, Renewable energy,
Astronomy, Arduino innovation, Microbiology

Each participating school shall submit a maximum of 2 models.


Two teams from the same school should not exhibit models from
the same theme.

We strongly discourage purchasing models from external sources


or being made by experts. Any instances of such violation of
rules shall result in immediate disqualification.
Participants are requested to bring their own batteries, junction
boxes, etc, which are required for their models. Only the power
supply will be provided by us.

If models utilize solar panels or require water supply,


participants must inform their requirements well in advance via
Instagram to facilitate their needs before 15th July.

Participants are requested to inform their model’s theme via the


Instagram handle on or before 15th July

Models should be labelled with the school's name along with


the theme for identification purposes.

Problem statements will be provided, along with the SDGs


(Sustainable Development Goal) that it disturbs.

PROBLEM STATEMENTS

Participants should present a solution to the problem.


Solutions must be logical, scientific, creative, aims to solve at least
three-fourths of the given problem and viable, keeping in mind the
current economy and environment.
The presentation must include a PPT with a maximum of ten slides.

- Round 1 Duration: 30 minutes. Round 2 Duration: 90 minutes

Participants should have knowledge of class 11 and 12 practical


curriculums.
Round 1 - Teams will be given 15 practical based questions. The
questions will cover all the three core subjects of science -
physics, chemistry and biology.
Round 2 - Participants will be given a list of experiments that have
to be completed within the given time limit.
The experiments will be based on the practical syllabus of class 11
and 12.
- Number of rounds: 3
- Team event - 5 participants per team.
- One team per school.
Teams will be given real-life situations in science. They will have to fix
themselves as the objects in those situations and position themselves
accordingly.
The judges will change the objects involved and not necessarily the
situation. The teams will then have to adapt quickly and act accordingly.
Eg: If the situation is to act out the functioning of a heart, players should
align themselves as different chambers and vessels and depict the flow of
blood.

Each scientific enquiry starts with a Leader Face-Off using buzzers to
determine answering priority.
Questions have multiple correct survey answers.
Teams answer one by one without discussion.
Teams get 3 strikes for either wrong or repeated answers. After 3 strikes,
the next team can steal the points with one correct answer.
This is a

Only one team per school.
Participants should prepare a skit on any one of the scientific
topics provided. Time limit of 5-6 minutes.
The skit will be evaluated based on creativity, usage of
scientific concepts and overall presentation.
Usage of humour is appreciated.
Language of skit to be in English. Slight usage of Tamil is
