commuting of the worker from home to work and from
homework.

What is understood by INCIDENT.

An incident is a near accident, which can be characterized
like an accident without harm to the worker, but with
possibility of future occurrence.
8) What are the consequences for the INDIVIDUAL, COMPANY and
STATE?
INDIVIDUAL - Death, salary reduction, loss of position
temporary or permanent.
COMPANY - First aid expenses, reduction of
production, work interruption.
STATE - Increase in Social Security charges.

9) What are the main causes of workplace accidents? Name them.

examples.
UNSAFE ACT - Part of the human being itself, whether by act
involuntary or due to the negligence and irresponsibility of the same.
Failure to use the provided PPE, Playing in the environment of
work, improvisations.
UNSAFE CONDITION - These are the conditions under which the worker
is subjected to and poses risks to physical integrity and
worker safety. Ex.: Non-provision of PPEs and
EPCs
deficient, etc.

10) What is ERGONOMICS?

Scientific discipline aimed at understanding interactions
humans with other elements or systems, and to the application
methods aimed at optimizing human well-being and the
overall system performance.

11) What is the purpose of ergonomics?

Ensure that the workplace is in harmony with the
activities that the worker carries out within himself.

12) What are the domains of expertise of ERGONOMICS?

PHYSICAL ERGONOMICS - Deals with the physical characteristics
anatomical, anthropometric, physiological, and biomechanical
related to physical activities.
COGNITIVE ERGONOMICS - It deals with mental processes as
perception, memory, reasoning, motor responses that can
affect interactions between humans and others
elements of a system.
ORGANIZATIONAL ERGONOMICS - Reports on the optimization of

16) What are OCCUPATIONAL DERMATOSES?

They are changes in the skin or mucous membranes caused directly or
indirectly through certain professional activities.

17) What is the PRELIMINARY RISK ANALYSIS (PRA) about?

It is a tool that addresses the risks of an industry.
processing and its impacts: on man, on property, and
in the environment.

18) Describe the basic process of RISK ANALYSIS.

1) Identify the existing risks;
2) Probability estimation;
3) Vulnerability Analysis;
4) Risk reduction measures;
5) Emergency action plan;

19) Pure risks involve situations that can only result in loss or no loss. There is no possibility of profit, and they usually include events such as natural disasters, accidents, or theft.
PURE RISKS - These are those whose occurrence generates only
economic damages to the company. Ex.: Operational accidents,
give us materials.
SPECULATIVE RISKS - These are those whose occurrence may come
to generate both economic gains and losses for the company. Ex.:
Supply/Demand, legislation, media.

What are the stages of investigation regarding RISKS OF

ACCIDENTS?
1) Collect the facts;
2) Analyze the accident and its possible causes;
3) Define preventive measures and monitor their
execution

21) What is SECURITY INSPECTION?

It is the part of risk control where inspections are carried out.
in the sectors and means of work, in order to identify and
correct situations that may jeopardize integrity
physics of workers.

22) What are the types of SECURITY INSPECTION?

GENERAL INSPECTION - Conducted when a view is desired
overview of the company's sectors as a whole.
PARTIAL INSPECTION - Conducted when the existence is already known.
of problems either due to complaints from workers or due to
occurrence of workplace accidents.
SPECIFIC INSPECTION - Conducted when one wants to identify
specific risks and problems.

23) What are the STAGES OF INSPECTION?

1) Observe the actions of people and the conditions of
equipment in the workplace
2) Record what has been observed and what needs to be done;
3) Analyze and recommend measures that minimize or
we eliminate the risks;
4) Forward to those responsible so that they
take the necessary measures;
5) Monitor the measures until the issue is resolved.
problem;

They are agents present in the work environment capable of
affect the worker in the short, medium, and long term.

25) How are ENVIRONMENTAL RISKS classified?

PHYSICAL RISKS - They are forms of energy that the worker
is exposed in the work environment. EX's.: Noises,
temperature, vibrations, radiation, etc.

worker is exposed in the workplace and that
can enter your body. Examples: Gases, Vapors,
Mineral dust, fumes, etc.

microorganisms and animals in the work environment. EX'S:
Bacteria, Viruses, Protozoa, etc.
