EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
This Contract is made this 01st day of May, 2025.
Between
BOUTIQUE TRADE & SUPPLY LIMITED of P.O. Box 1600 Vision City, Waigani, Moresby North West,
NCD, Papua New Guinea (hereinafter called the Employer)
And
GOTAME MILAN of NEPAL NATIONALITY, NEPAL, (hereinafter called the Employee)
SALARIES & WAGES
Employer shall pay the employee in local Currency Kina 3, 000.00 once a month of his/her basic salary/wages
according to his/her approved rate per annum.
POSITION
Retail Store Manager
WORKING HOURS
The working hours shall be nine (9) hours per day and six (6) days per week and off on Sunday.
TAXES
The employee is liable to pay income tax as per requirement of the Income Tax Act 1 in Papua New Guinea (PNG)
ANNUAL LEAVE
Applicant must complete of full Eighteen (18) months continuous service with the company. The employee shall be
entitled to six (6) week leave with economy air fares back to place of recruitment and return.
DURATION OF CONTRACT
The employee shall serve the employer with three (3) years contract, commencing from the departure date from point
of origin to the jobsite. The employment contract is renewal at the discretion of the employer
TERMINATION OF CONTRACT
Neither oh the party may unilaterally cancel the contract expect for just cause. The employment may be terminated by
employer on the grounds of the employee misconduct, mentally or badly infirmity, disobedience ,insubordination,
drunkenness, engaging in seditious or subversive activity, rioting or inciting riot, violation of the laws of Papua New
Guinea. The employer may terminate the contract on grounds of serious insult, inhuman and unbearable treatment
accorded to the employee and violation by the employer of the contract terms and conditions.
Both parties may terminate the contract on other grounds by giving prior thirty (30) days written notice or in lieu
thereof, termination pay equivalent to a one-month basic pay for every service rendered for that period a fraction of at
least six (6) months being considered a one (1) full year.
SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES
All claims and complains to the employment contract of the worker shall be settle in accordance with the company’s
policies, rules and regulation. In case the worker contests the decision of the employer.
The matter shall be settling amicable with the participation of the embassy/consulate representative at the nearest site
of employment. In case the amicable settlement fails, the matter shall be submitted to the company or appropriate
government body.
APLICABLE LAWS
The employee shall observe employers rules and abide by the LAWS OF PAPUA NEW GUINEA and respect its
customs and traditions. The pertinent laws of PAPUA NEW GUINEA shall govern other terms and conditions of
employment favorable to the employee not covered herein
