 At Taiwan Tech, there are 2 semesters in each academic year. The spring semester runs from
February to June, while the fall semester runs from September to January of the following year.
臺科大每個學年分為兩個學期。春季學期從二月至六月，而秋季學期則從九月至隔年一

VI. Entry Requirements 申請資格

International applicants who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply:
外籍學生須符合下列資格方能申請:
i. Nationality Requirements: 國籍規定
1. Applicants who meet the requirements of "Regulations Regarding International
Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan" are eligible to apply.
符合外國學生來臺就學辦法之規定者，得申請入學。
2. According to Article 2, "Nationality Act of the Republic of China", a person shall have
the nationality of the ROC under any of the conditions provided by the following
Subparagraphs:
2.1 His/her father or mother was a national of the ROC when he/she was born.
2.2 He/she was born after the death of his/her father or mother, and his/her father or
mother was a national of the ROC at the time of death.
2.3 He/she was born in the territory of the ROC, and his/her parents can't be
ascertained or both were stateless persons.
2.4 He/she has undergone the naturalization process.
Preceding Subparagraph 1 and Subparagraph 2 shall also apply to the persons who

 were minors at the time of the amendment and promulgation of this Act.
依我國【國籍法第二條】規定，有下列各款情形之一者，屬中華民國國籍。
2.1 出生時父或母為中華民國國民。*民國 69 年(西元 1980 年)2 月 9 日(含 9 日)
前出生者，僅以父親為準。
2.2 出生於父或母死亡後，其父或母死亡時為中華民國國民。
2.3 出生於中華民國領域內，父母均無可考，或均無國籍者。
2.4 歸化者。
前項第一款及第二款之規定，於本法修正公布時之未成年人，亦適用之。
3. Stateless individuals are not eligible to apply for enrollment at universities in Taiwan.
Please refrain from applying.
無國籍者不可於臺灣申請入學。請勿申請。
ii. Academic Qualifications Requirements 學歷規定
1. To carry out the assessment and recognition of foreign academic credentials, the
applicant's graduation institution must meet the following requirements: recognition of
academic credentials from foreign institutions of higher education listed in the MOE
reference list, or recognition by the competent educational authority or a relevant
accreditation agency in the applicant's home country.
畢（肄）業學校應為已列入教育部參考名冊者；未列入參考名冊者，應為當地國
政府學校權責機關或其認定之教育專業評鑑團體所認可。
Note: Applicants with a previous degree from Mainland China are subjected to the
following regulations.
1.1. The university where the previous degree was obtained must be listed under
MOE’s “List of Recognized Higher Education Institutions in Mainland China”
(Chinese version only).
1.2. The period of study must fulfill the minimum requirements of Article 7 of MOE’s
“Regulations Regarding the Recognition of Academic Credentials from Mainland
China” (Chinese version only).
1.3. Not falling under the circumstances specified in Article 9 of the “Regulations
Regarding the Recognition of Academic Credentials from Mainland China”
(Chinese version only).
註: 前學歷在大陸地區取得者須符合以下規定:
1.1. 學校屬教育部大陸地區高等學校認可名冊所列。
1.2. 修業期限符合「大陸地區學歷採認辦法」第 7 條最低門檻。

2. Applicants with a Bachelor's degree or above are eligible to apply for Master’s
programs; applicants with a Master's degree or above are eligible to apply for Ph.D.
programs.
具學士學位以上者，得申請入學本校碩士班；具碩士學位以上者，得申請入學本
校博士班。
3. The enrollment period of one’s previous degree should meet the following requirement:
at least 32 months of enrollment prior to conferral of a bachelor’s degree, at least 8
months of enrollment prior to conferral of a master’s degree.
持學士學位者，累計在當地學校修業時間至少須滿三十二個月；持碩士學位者，
累計在當地學校修業時間至少須滿八個月。

2. If the applicant is a recipient of a NTUST

Scholarship and wishes to apply for an
admission deferral, the retention of their
scholarship should be subject to individual
review by the Office of International
Affairs.
若申請者為臺科大獎學金受獎者，欲申
請保留學籍，其獎學金保留與否應經過
國際處個案審查。

3. Those who are eligible to apply for an

ii. Application procedures 申請程序

1. Please take note of the following 報名注意事項:
1.1 Please strictly comply with the three steps below: submitting all the necessary
documents, collecting recommendation letters (if required), and making
application payment. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of their
applications. All losses thus incurred shall be borne by the applicant.
請務必於申請期限內送出申請資料、推薦信及完成繳費，如延誤時間而致喪
失申請權益，其責任概由申請生自行負責。
1.2 Please upload the documents online. All required documents should be uploaded
in PDF format, except for the photo, which should be in JPG format. Each
document should not exceed 5MB. Applicants should upload each document to its
respective field. Only one file per field is accepted. Therefore, if applicants have
multiple files for a particular field, they will need to merge them into one PDF file
before uploading.
請於申請系統上傳文件，申請資料除照片應以 JPG 檔案上傳外，其他則以
PDF 檔案上傳，請依各項文件欄位逐一上傳，每一文件項目僅可上傳單一檔
案。申請生若單一項目有多個電子檔，請自行合併成一個檔案後再上傳，並
以 5MB 為限。
1.3 Recommendation Letters: Written in either Chinese or English by an applicant’s
professors, employers, or anyone who knows the applicant. Please log in to the
application system and fill in the referees’ information and email addresses. The
system will send a notification directly to the referees. After filling in the referee’s
information, the applicant may proceed to the next step to complete the application.
However, the applicant should check whether his/her referees have completed the
Recommendation Letters before the deadline. The application is considered

 incomplete if the referees fail to reply by the deadline.
推薦信：限中文或英文，推薦人應是申請人的老師或雇主或是熟識申請者的
人。申請生需於線上申請系統完成推薦人基本資料及電子郵件登錄，系統將
會直接寄發電子郵件給指定之推薦人，輸入完推薦人資訊後，申請者可以進
行下一個申請步驟。但申請者需自行確認是否推薦人於期限內完成線上推薦
程序。推薦者如期於截止前線上推薦完成後方完成申請流程。
2. Application Fee 繳費說明
2.5 The regular fee is TWD 1,000 or USD 30 per department/graduate institute.
每單一系所:新臺幣 1,000 元或美金 30 元。
2.6 Other currencies are not accepted.
不收受其他幣值。
2.7 Each payment account given to the applicant is exclusive. Please do not pay with
other applicants’ payment accounts.
繳款帳號為申請人專屬繳款帳號，請勿使用其他申請人之繳款帳號。
2.8 After the payment is made, no refund will be given under any circumstances. 申
請費一經繳交，概不退還。
3. Payment method 繳費方式
3.1 Online payment via credit cards 信用卡:
(a) Payment can be made worldwide.
此繳費方式全球通用。
(b) Payment denominated in NTD; no processing fees.
以新台幣計價，免自行負擔手續費。
(c) After completing the online payment, a confirmation will immediately appear
on the application website. If the website does not display a successful payment,
please first verify with your bank to ensure the payment was successful, in order
to avoid duplicate payments.
刷卡後可立即於報名網站看到繳款完成。若系統未立即顯示完成繳費，請
先與您的發卡銀行確認交易是否成功，以避免重複繳款。
3.2 Domestic payment via bank transfer (Taiwan) 國內繳費(台幣帳戶):
(a) Payment is limited in Taiwan and can be made via ATM transfer, Web ATM,
Online Bank or inter-bank funds transfer (CTBC Bank does not provide such
service).
限於臺灣使用，可使用 ATM 轉帳、網路 ATM、網路銀行或至各金融機構

 跨行匯款(中國信託除外)。
(b) Payment is denominated in NTD. Additional processing fees may be
charged. The amount of which depends on the bank’s policy.
以新台幣計價，需自行負擔手續費，手續費依各銀行規定。
(c) A confirmation will be shown on the application website the day after
the transaction is completed.
可於繳費後次一日，於報名網站看到繳費完成。
(d) If applicants choose to pay via inter-bank transfer, please note that payments
completed after 15:30 on the application due date will be processed as next-day
transactions and therefore will not be accepted. Hence, if applicants intend to
pay on the due date, they should avoid using this payment method.
使用各金融機構跨行匯款，請注意繳費截止日當天 15:30 後屬隔日匯款不
予受理，故報名截止當日勿利用此方式匯款，以免造成報名不成功。
3.3 Payment via international funds transfer(USD only)
國際匯費(美金帳戶):
(a) This option is for transferring funds from overseas.
適用於國際間海外匯款。
(b) Payment in USD requires additional processing fees
以美金計價，手續費額外支付。
(c) Transfers should be made with the OUR instruction. The expense of all
processing fees, including those charged by the remittance bank, the
intermediary/corresponding bank and the beneficiary bank, should be paid by
the applicant.
報名者需自行負擔所有手續費，包含匯出銀行、中間轉匯銀行及受款銀行
手續費。
(d) Due to the complexity of international bank transfers, it may take several
business days for payments to be processed. Please make your payment as soon
as possible and avoid making payments during the last week before the payment
deadline.
因國際間匯款作業繁複，故繳費後可能需多個工作天才會入帳，請儘速繳
款，並請避免在繳款截止前一周繳費。
(e) Please upload the payment proof to the online system after finishing the
payment.

4. A proof of application can be downloaded from the system after payment has been
successfully made.
成功付款後，申請者可以從系統中下載申請證明。

Upon application, the following documents are not required for authentication. However,

they may need to be authenticated when the admitted applicants register at Taiwan Tech.

ORIGINAL 1. Applicants graduating in the current semester may not need to
upload the graduation certificate. However, they must upload the
diploma. “certificate of enrollment” of the current semester in English.
畢業證書正本 應屆畢業申請者，申請時不需上傳畢業證書，但須上傳當學期
英文版在學證明。

2. If the original diploma is neither in English nor in Chinese, an

English translation certified by the university or by a notary public
is needed together with the original diploma.

若畢業證書不是中文或英文版本，須一併上傳經學校或公證人

NOTE: To qualify for an exemption from submitting a language

proficiency certificate, current Taiwan Tech students must upload a
certificate of enrollment that specifies English as the medium of
instruction. Taiwan Tech graduates must submit a certificate of
degree conferral that also indicates English as the medium of
instruction. This certificate must be issued by the Office of Academic
Affairs. Transcripts and diplomas are not accepted as valid proof for
this exemption.
本校在校生若申請免繳語言能力證明，須上傳註明授課語言為
英語之在學證明；畢業生則須上傳註明授課語言為英語之學位
證明。上述證明文件須由教務處核發。成績單與畢業證書皆不被
視為有效的語言能力證明豁免依據。

申請時，所有申請者都必須提交財力證明承諾書，聲明他們知
曉，第一階段錄取結果公告後，若他們未獲得全額或部分獎學
金，他們必須提供最近 6 個月內帳戶餘額至少等同於$4,000 美
金的財力證明。

(appendix 5). The financial statement must be an English document
issued by a bank within the last 6 months and must reflect a cash
amount of at least 4,000 USD Applicants who have been granted
scholarships or assistantships by NTUST professors or departments
/ graduate institutes may submit relevant proofs instead of a bank
statement. Failure to submit the required financial statement by the
deadline or submitting a document that does not meet the
requirements will result in the applicants voluntarily giving up their
qualification. If the bank account statement is under the applicant's
parent’s name, please submit the bank statement and the financial
supporter's signed guarantee of financial support.

The NTUST committees at different levels will decide whether to grant an offer based on

an applicant’s qualification and documents. Certain departments/graduate institutes may

require oral interviews. Please refer to requirements of each department.

Graduate students from abroad apply for admission to our English-taught programs
for master’s and doctoral degrees as full-time students may apply for one year’s
scholarship; continuation of the scholarship depends on the student’s academic and
research performance. The type of NTUST scholarship will be determined by the
department based on the applicant’s qualifications. For scholarship recipients, tuition
and fees are waived for each year of the scholarship. Applicants could apply for this

Duration of the Scholarship 受獎期限：

For the NTUST scholarship recipient, both those receiving a full monthly stipend and
those with a partial monthly stipend, the department or thesis advisor must provide
NTD6,000 of the monthly stipend to master’s students and NTD6,000 of the monthly
stipend to doctoral students, with the remaining portion of the stipend provided by the
university. This regulation will be applied beginning from the second year of master’s
and doctoral degree students, continuing into the third year of doctoral degree students;
some of the departments may put this policy into practice starting from the first year.
For example: a master’s degree student with a full monthly stipend will receive
NTD6,000 from the department and NTD6,000 from the university.
各系所或指導教授必須提供配合款予臺科大外籍研究生獎學金全額及部分之受
獎生:博士生每月新台幣 6,000 元，碩士生每月新台幣 6,000 元；其餘款項由學

Taiwan, the Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs award scholarships
for international students. For detailed information regarding the Taiwan Scholarship,

IX. Application Results 申請結果

Applicants will be informed of the admission result by email. If admitted, the Letter of
Admission will be sent via postal service. Please provide an accurate postal mailing address for
the Admission letter. Applicants must take full responsibility for any consequences arising from
an undeliverable Admission letter due to an incorrect mailing address or inaccurate personal
information.
請於本校申請網站查詢錄取結果。本校將會 email 錄取結果通知，並以郵寄方式寄出錄
取通知書。請提供正確的郵寄地址，若因地址不詳或資料錯誤，導致信件無法寄達，申

X. Online Intention Reply for Enrollment 線上入學意願回覆

Admitted applicants should log in to the online application system within the timeframe
specified in the admission notice to confirm their intention for enrollment and complete the
online reply procedures. Failure to submit by the deadline will be considered as voluntarily
giving up admission.
錄取人應於截止期限前於本校入學申請網站回覆報到意願，逾期者視為放棄就讀。

XI. Registration 錄取生報到註冊

i. New students are required to physically register at Taiwan Tech before the first day of

 classes(in mid-February, 2026). The actual registration dates will be announced in the

application system -the New Student Information Notice. In exceptional circumstances,

registration may be postponed until March 6, 2026. Please note that if students miss the

course selection deadline due to arriving late at Taiwan Tech, they are responsible for any

resulting consequences and will not be able to add courses thereafter. Students who fail to

register by March 6, 2026 will be considered to have forfeited their admission. Further

details will be announced in the application system after the final NTUST result

confirmation.

新生須於上課第一天前(約為2026年2月中旬)至本校報到，實際註冊日將公告於申請

系統之新生入學通知中。特殊情形得延後入學至3月6日報到。請注意，若因太晚註

冊而錯過選課時間，將無法選課。無法於3月6日報到者視為放棄入學。臺科大獎學

XII. Important Notices 注意事項

i. Applicants should conform to the MOE Regulations Regarding International Students

Undertaking Studies in Taiwan. Any violations of the mentioned regulations, including

submitting forged, fabricated, or altered papers, will result in immediate cancellation of the

or revocation of their NTUST diploma. No academic certificate will be given.

ii. The admission notice does not guarantee the issuance of a visa. A visa can be approved only

by the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs or Taiwan Overseas

Representative Offices. Some Taiwan Overseas Representative Offices may require the

applicants to submit the proof of Chinese Language Proficiency (enrolling in Chinese-

taught programs) or proof of English Language Proficiency (enrolling in English-taught

programs) or other documents for visa application. For the requirement of visa application,

please contact the Taiwan Overseas Representative Office in/near your country.

錄取通知並不保證必定可取得入臺簽證，其審核仍依臺灣駐外機構決定。駐外機構

iii. Admitted students can only select courses after completing on-site registration within the

designated dates. If, for any reason, students fail to complete the procedures within the

Financial Statement Declaration 財力證明承諾書

I, the undersigned, understand and agree to the following provisions:
If I do not receive a full or partial scholarship from National Taiwan University of
Science and Technology during the preliminary admission stage, I must upload a
financial statement during the Online Intention Reply for Enrollment Period (please
refer to the guideline for the exact dates).
The financial statement must be an English document issued by a bank, showing at
least 4,000 USD. Applicants who have been granted scholarships or assistantships by
Taiwan Tech professors or departments / graduate institutes may upload relevant
proofs instead of a bank statement. Failure to submit the required financial statement
or relevant documents by the deadline or submitting a document that does not meet the
requirements will result in the applicants voluntarily giving up their qualification.

若我在第一階放榜階段未能獲得國立臺灣科技大學提供的全額或部分獎學金，
我必須在線上回覆就讀意願期間上傳財力證明文件（切確具體日期請參考簡章）。
該財力證明文件必須是由銀行發行的英文文件，顯示至少 4,000 美元。已獲得臺
灣科技大學教授或系所/研究所提供獎學金的申請人可以上傳相關證明，而不需
要銀行文件。若未能在截止日期前提交所需的財力證明文件或相關文件，或提交
的文件不符合要求，將視同自願放棄資格。
