1.6 Supplying chemical emulsion in sealed containers including delivery as specified. : Chlorpyriphos

Diluting and injecting chemical emulsion for POST-CONSTRUCTIONAL anti-termite treatment
(excluding the cost of chemical emulsion) :
Along external wall where the apron is not provided using chemical emulsion @ 7.5 litres / sqm of
the vertical surface of the substructure to a depth of 300mm including excavation channel along the
1.7 wall & rodding etc. complete : With Chlorpyriphos E.C. 20% with 1%
concentration
Diluting and injecting chemical emulsion for POST-CONSTRUCTIONAL anti-termite treatment
(excluding the cost of chemical emulsion) : Treatment of soil under existing floors using chemical
emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300 mm apart including drilling 12 mm diameter holes and plugging

2 SECTION-2: CONCRETE WORK
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering
2.1 and shttering - All work up to plinth level:
1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 6 graded stone aggregate
2.1.1 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

of cement as per manufacturer's specification & directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing & applying a coat of residual petroleum bitumen of grade of VG-10 of approved quality
2.4 using 1.7kg per square metre on damp proof course after cleaning the surface with brushes and
finally with apiece of cloth lightly soaked in kerosene oil.

Making plinth protection 50mm thick of cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-III)
derived from natural sources : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural
sources) over 75mm thick bed of dry brick ballast 40 mm nominal size, well rammed and
2.5 consolidated and grouted with fine sand, including necessary excavation, levelling & dressing &
finishing the top smooth.

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including
attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing
courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc., up
to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing :

3 SECTION-3: REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE

Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, butteresses, plinth and string courses etc.

Providing and laying of steel reinforcement of following grades , including removing scales, cutting,
bending, hoisting, placing and binding in position with 20 gauge annealed binding wire and cement

3.2.1 Fe 500D or more - in all RCC works

RCC Work
Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for
reinforced cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural
sources, Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement, admixtures in
recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve
durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying,
curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and
reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete.
Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be
3.3 payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 110% of the specified
minimum cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the
cost of extra cement.
Concrete of M35 grade with minimum cement content of 370 kg /cum

3.3.1 All works upto plinth level


3.3.2 All works above plinth level upto floor V level
Add/recover for using extra cement in the item of design mix over/under the specified cement
3.4 content therein.

Providing and fixing of expansion joint system related with floor location including gap filling with
polysulphide caulking compound as per drawings and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. The joints
system will be of extruded aluminum base members, self aligning / self centering arrangement and
support plates etc. as per ASTM B221-02. The system shall be such that it provides floor to floor
/floor to wall expansion control system for various vertical locations in load application areas that
accommodates multi directional seismic movement without stress to it's components. System shall
consist of metal profiles with a universal aluminum base member designed to accommodate various
project conditions and finish floor treatments. The cover plate shall be designed of width and
thickness required to satisfy projects movement and loading requirements and secured to base
3.5 members by utilizing manufacturer’s pre-engineered self-centering arrangement that freely rotates /
moves in all directions.
The Self - centering arrangement shall exhibit circular sphere ends that lock and slide inside the
corresponding aluminum extrusion cavity to allow freedom of movement and flexure in all directions
including vertical displacement. Provision of Moisture Barrier Membrane in the Joint System to have
watertight joint is mandatory requirement all as per the manufactures design and as approved by
Engineer -in- Charge. (Material shall conform to ASTM 6063). :
Floor Joint of 150 mm gap
Providing and fixing of expansion joint system related with wall joint (internal/ external) location
including gap filling with polysulphide caulking compound as per drawings and direction of
Engineer-In- Charge. The joints shall be of extruded aluminum base members, self aligning /
centering arrangement and support plates as per ASTM B221- 02. The material shall be such that it
provides an Expansion Joints System suitable for vertical wall to wall/ wall to corner application,
3.6 both new and existing construction in office Buildings & complexes with no slipping down tendency
amongst the components of the Joint System. The Joint System shall utilize light weight aluminum
profiles exhibiting minimal exposed aluminum surfaces mechanically snap locking the multicellular
to facilitate movement. (Material shall conform to ASTM 6063.) :
Wall Joint of 150 mm gap

Providing and fixing of expansion joint system of approved make and manufactures for various roof
locations including gap filling with polysulphide caulking compound as per approved drawings and
direction of Engineer-In-Charge. The joints shall be of extruded aluminum base members with, self
aligning and self centering arragement support plates asper ASTM B221-02. The system shall be
such that it provides watertight roof to roof/roof to corner joint cover expansion control system that is
capable of accommodating multidirectional seismic movement without stress to its components.
System shall consist of metal profile that incorporates a universal aluminum base member designed
to accommodate various project conditions and roof treatments. The cover plate shall be designed
of width and thickness required to satisfy movement and loading requirements and secured to base
3.7 members by utilizing manufacturer’s pre-engineered self-centering arrangement that freely rotates /
moves in all directions. :
The Self centering arrangement shall exhibit circular sphere ends that lock and slide inside the
corresponding aluminum extrusion cavity to allow freedom of movement and flexure inall directions
including vertical displacement. The Joint System shall resistsdamage or deterioration from the
impact of falling ice, exposure to UV,airborne contaminants and occasional foot traffic from
maintenancepersonnel. Provision of Moisture Barrier Membrane in the Joint System to have water
tight joint is mandatory requirement. Material shall confirm to ASTM 6063.:
Roof Joint of 150 mm gap

Add for plaster drip course/ groove in plastered surface or moulding to R.C.C. projections.

4 SECTION-4: BRICK WORK
Brick work with non modular fly ash bricks conforming to IS:12894, class designation 10 average
4.1 compressive strength up to floor V level in : Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 Coarse sand)
Providing and laying autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry with
150mm/230mm/300 mm thick AAC blocks in super structure above
plinth level up to floor V level with RCC band at sill level and lintel level
with approved block laying polymer modified adhesive mortar all
4.2 complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (The payment of RCC
band and reinforcement shall be made for seperately).

Providing and laying autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry with


100 mm thick AAC blocks in super structure above plinth level up to
floor V level in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand ). The rate
4.3 includes providing and placing in position 2 Nos 6 mm dia M.S. bars at
every third course of masonry work.

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5
4.4 in foundation and plinth in:
Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)
Extra for providing and placing in position 2 Nos 6mm dia. M.S. bars at every third course

of half brick masonry.
5 SECTION-5: STONE WORK
Granite Stone (mirror polished and machine cut edge) tile work of 8mm thickness and any shade
for wall lining upto 10m height with special adhesive like araldite or equivalent over 12mm thick bed
of cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand) including painting in white cement with an
admixture of pigment to match the stone shade. Sample shall be approved by Engineer-In-Charge.
5.1 (Slab area above 0.50 Sqm)

Providing and fixing copper pins 7.5 cm long 6 mm diameter for securing adjacent stones in stone
5.2 wall lining in cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand), including making the necessary chases.

6 SECTION-6: Marble & Granite Work


Providing and fixing 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished,
machine cut Granite of any colour and shade for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills,
facias and similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm
thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed
with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges
to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels. Sample shall be approved by Engineer-In-
6.1 Charge.
Area of slab over 0.50 sqm

7 SECTION-7: WOOD WORK


Providing and fixing ISI marked flush door shutters conforming to IS : 2202 (Part I) non-decorative
type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched
commercial 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of
shutters:
7.1 35 mm thick including Heavy duty Stainless Steel butt hinges
with necessary screws,
Note: Cost of decorative veneering will be paid separately in relavent items.

Providing & Fixing 1 mm thick decorative high pressure laminated sheet of plain / wood grain in
gloss / matt / suede finish with high density protective surface layer and reverse side of adhesive
7.2 bonding quality conforming to IS : 2046 Type S, including cost of adhesive of approved quality.

Providing and fixing 4mm thick one side decorative veneer of approved make on partitions or
7.3 whrever required including making grooves/patterns & Superior grade melamine polish etc.,
complete as per drawing

7.3.1 Natural teak ( Durian or equivalent)

Providing and fixing fire resistant door frame of section 143 x 57 mm having built in rebate made out
of 16 SWG G.I. sheet (zinc coating not less than 120 gm/sqm) duly filled with vermuculite based
concrete mix, suitable for mounting 60 minutes fire rated door shutters. The frame is fitted with
intumuscent fire seal strip of size 10x4 mm (minimum) alround the frame and fixing with dash
7.4 fastener of approved size and make, including applying a coat of approved brand fire resistant
primer etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (Dash fastener to be paid for
separately).

Providing and fixing 50 mm thick glazed fire resistant door shutters of 60 minutes fire rating
conforming to IS:3614 (Part-II), tested and certified as per laboratory approved by Engineer-in-
charge, with suitable mounting on door frame, consisting of vertical styles, lock rail, top rail 100 mm
wide, bottom rail 200 mm wide, made out of 16 SWG G.I.sheet (zinc coating not less than 120
gm/m2) duly filled FR insulation material and fixing with necessary stainless steel ball bearing
7.5 hinges of approved make, including applying a coat of approved fire resistant primer etc. all
complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (panneling to be paid for separately).

Providing and fixing glazing with clear fire resistant glass panes 6mm thick of approved brand,
having minimum 60 minutes fire resistance in fire resistant door shutters, fixed panels, ventilators
and partitions etc., with G.I. beading of appropriate size, made out of 20 SWG G.I.sheet (zinc
coating not less than 120 gm/m2), fire resistant sealant, including applying a coat of approved fire
7.6 resistant primer on G.I. beading etc., complete all as per direction of Engineer-incharge.

Providing and fixing panic bar / latch (Double point) fitted with a single body, Trim Latch & Lock on
7.7 back side of the Panic Latch of reputed brand and manufacture to be approved by the Engineer- in-
charge, all complete.
Providing and Fixing factory made uPVC door frame, made of uPVC exturded sections , of size 65
mm x 55 mm with wall thickness 2.0 mm (± 0.2 mm), corners of the door frame to be mitred cut and
jointed with plastic brackets and stainless steel screws, reinforcing hinge side vertical of the frames
with PVC profile of Size 28 mm x 30 mm having wall thickness 2 mm (±0.2 mm), including providing
& fixing 3 nos of 125 mm long stainless steel hinges to the frame, fixing the frame with jamb with
7.8 required number & size of anchor dash fastners, all complete as per manufacturer's specification
and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing & fixing factory made uPVC white color sheet fixed door comprising of uPVC multi
chambered frame, sash & mullion(where ever required) extruded profile duly reinforced with 1 to 1.5
to 2mm +- 0.2mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required
length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), uPVC extruded glazing beads of appropriate
dimension, TPV Gasket having separate dranage system zinc alloy(white powder coated) 3D hinges
and one handle on each side of the panel along with zinc plated mild steel multi point locking having
transmission gear, cylinder with keeps and one side key, G.I. Fasteners 100x8mm size for fixing
frame to finished wall, plastic packers, plastic caps and necessary stainless steel screws etc. Profile
of Frame & Sash shall be metered cut and fusion welded at all corner, Mullion (if required) shall be
also fusion welded including drilling of holes for fixing hardware & drainage of water etc. After fixing
frame, the gap between frame and adjacent wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealant
7.9 over backer rod of required size and the approved quality, all complete as per approved drawing &
direction of Engineer-in- Charge. NOTE: - For uPVC frame, sash & mullion extruded profile minus
5% tolerance in dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable.

Providing and fixing frame work for partitions/ wall lining etc. made of 50x50x1.6 mm hollow MS
tube, placed along the walls, ceiling and floor in a grid pattern with spacing @ 60 cm centre to
centre both ways (vertically & horizontally) or at required spacing near opening, with necessary
welding at junctions and fixing the frame to wall/ ceiling/ floors with steel dash fasteners of 8 mm dia,
75 mm long bolt, including making provision for opening for doors, windows, electrical conduits,
7.10 switch boards etc., including providing with two coats of approved steel primer etc. complete, all as
per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Extra for providing vision panel not exceeding 0.1 sqm in all type of flush doors (cost of glass

Assembling, supplying ,Providing & fixing in existing aluminium frame work , glass panels
comprising of hermetically-sealed 6-12- 6 mm insulated glass (double glazed) Envision panel units
of size and shape as required and specified, comprising of an outer heat strengthened float glass
6mm thick, of Neutral colour and shade with reflective soft coating on surface # 2 of approved colour
and shade, an inner Heat strengthned clear float glass 6mm thick, spacer tube 12mm wide,
dessicants, including primary seal and secondary seal (structural silicone sealant) etc. all complete
for the required performances, as per the Architectural drawings for fixed & openable panels , as per
the approved shop drawings ( to be prepared & supplied by the contractor) as specified and as
directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The glass shall be assembled in the factory/ workshop of the
glass processor. “(Payment for fixing of Panels in the curtain glazing is to included in cost of item of
structural glazing /aluminium doors/windows). “For payment, only the actual area of glass on face #
1 of the glass panels (excluding the areas of the grooves and weather silicone sealant) provided
and fixed in position, shall be measured in sqm.“ Aluminium work to be paid seperatly in relevanat
aluminium items. (i) Coloured tinted float glass 6mm thick substrate with reflective soft coating on
7.21 face # 2, + 12mm Airgap + 6mm Heat Strengthened clear Glass of approved make having
properties as visible Light transmittance (VLT) of 25 to 35 %, Light reflection internal 10 to 15%, light
reflection external 10 to 20 %, shading coefficient (0.25- 0.28) and U value of 3.0 to 3.3 W/m2
degree K etc. The properties of performance glass shall be decided by Engineer-In-Charge as per
the green building/site requirement.

Providing & fixing in existing aluminium frame work , Coloured tinted float glass 6mm thick substrate
with reflective soft coating on face # 2, + 12mm Airgap + 6mm Heat Strengthened clear Glass of
approved make having properties as visible Light transmittance (VLT) of 25 to 35 %, Light reflection
internal 10 to 15%, light reflection external 10 to 20 %, shading coefficient (0.25- 0.28) and U value
of 3.0 to 3.3 W/m2 degree K etc. The properties of performance glass shall be decided by technical
sanctioning authority as per the green building/site requirement ( cost to include fixing &

9 SECTION-9: FLOORING

including consolidation with needle and vibro compactor equipment and finishing with power floater
to get desired smooth finish and making impression of specified pattern as per requirement, sawing
the contraction joint with machnical saw at specified spacing, the width of sawed groove shall be
6mm thick and depth shall be 1/4th of thickness of pavment and sawing operation should be carried
out as soon as the concrete is ready to accept the saw cut without trowelling. The joint should be
field with approved bitumastic sealant including transporting of concrete to site of laying including

side inclusive) as per IS : 277 and consisting of angle cleats of size 25 mm wide x 1.6 mm thick with

construction with an enclosed bottom pan with uniform pattern of 64 hemispherical cones. The top
and bottom plates of Steel Gauges: top 0.6 mm and bottom 0.7mm fused spot welded together
(minimum 64 welds in each dome and 20 welds along each flange). The panel should be corrosion
resistant epoxy coated for lifetime rust protection and cavity formed by the top and bottom plate is

11 SECTION-11: FINISHING
11.1 Applying 12 mm cement plaster of mix 1:6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand)

1.43 litre/ 10 sqm. Over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm.

Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, with water thinnable
11.12 cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre
Wall painting with two coats of premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC

French spirit polishing :


11.15 Two or more coats on new works including a coat of wood filler
Polishing in high gloss/matt finish melamine clear polish on wood work in required color/wooden
shade texture with following process in the sequence as detailed below:
1. The surface to be polished is rubbed with sand paper 80/ 120 no. and then with sand paper of
160/180 nos.
2. Applying two coats of sealer with spray gun and allowing sufficient drying time for 1st coat and
2nd coat is allowed to dry for 8 to 12 hrs.
3. On drying of sealer coat, wet rubbing with emery cloth of finer grading with ample water to
remove excess sealer layer and make the surface further smooth after this wet rubbing, then
surface is applied with special grade melamine fillers to fill all the small and big holes/grooves etc.
Filler coat to be allowed to dry for 4 to 6 hrs on which again a light wet rubbing is done this surface
is further allowed to dry for 12 hrs.
4. On this, 1st coat of melamine polish is applied with spray gun using melamine clear polish and
11.16 melamine thinner in required proportion. This 1st coat is allowed to dry for 24 hrs then this dry
surface is again fine wet rubbed smooth, which is further allowed to dry for 12 hrs. The final
melamine polish is applied with compressor pressure spray gun using melamine clear polish and
melamine thinner mixed in required proportion complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
(Final coat to be done in 1 or 2 layers without gap of time.)

12 SECTION-12: WATER PROOFING


Providing and laying water proofing treatment in sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc., by applying
cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying : a) First layer of
slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/ sqm.
This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours. b) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242
kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to
12.1 air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours. The rate includes preparation of surface,
treatment and sealing of all joints, corners, junctions of pipes and masonry with polymer mixed
slurry.

Providing and laying water proofing treatment on roofs of slabs by applying cement slurry mixed
with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying:
(a) after surface preparation, first layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water
proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/sqm.
(b) laying second layer of Fibre glass cloth when the first layer is still green. Overlaps of joints of
fibre cloth should not be less than 10 cm.
(c) third layer of 1.5 mm thickness consisting of slurry of cement @ 1.289 kg/sqm mixed with water
proofing cement compound @ 0.670 kg/sqm and coarse sand @ 1.289 kg/sqm. This will be allowed
12.2 to air cure for 4 hours followed by water curing for 48 hours. The entire treatment will be taken upto
30 cm on parapet wall and tucked into groove in parapet all around.
(d) fourth and final layer of tiling which will be paid for separately.
For the purpose of measurement the entire treated surface will be measured.
Providing and mixing Integral waterproofing liquid admixture for waterproofing treatment to RCC
structures like basement raft , retaining walls, re servior, sewage & water treatment plant , tunnels /
12.3 subway and bridge deck etc. As per manufacturer specifications & direction of Engineer-In-Charge

Providing and applying of swellable type water stop tape 19mm x 25mm thick in linear meter
(expansive nature) for construction joints treatment of RCC stucture, such as raft slab, retaining
walls, water storage tank and at the junctions of raft slab with the rataining primer for swellable
water stop tape shall be applied throughout the length of the joint @3.78 litre per 240 running meter.
Over the primed surface swellable type water stop tape shall be placed. The work shall be carried
12.4 out all comlete as per specification and the direction of the engineer- in- chagre. The product
performance shall carry guaranteed for 10 years against any leakage.

Filling of sunk portion of roof with foam concete of required height including filling complete levelling
12.5 and dressing the surface by 50mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 as per specification.

13 SECTION-13: ALUMINIUM WORK


Providing and fixing anodized aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with
extruded built- up standard tubular sections / appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved
make confirming to IS:733 and S:1285,fixed with rawl plug and screws or with fixing clips, or with
expansion hold fastners including necessary filling up of gaps at juctions, at top, bottom and sides
with required PVC /Neoprene felt etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight,
mitered and joined mechanically wherever required including cleat angle. Aluminium snap beading
for glazing / panelling CP brass / Stainless Steel screws, all complete as per architectual drawing

recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of
concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength;
including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all
leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and
reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following
grades of concrete.
Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in
design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in
3.3 design mix is more than 110% of the specified minimum cement content,
the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the
cost of extra cement.
