Constitution and By-Laws
(Name of School)
ARTICLE I – NAME OF THE ORGANIZATION
This organization shall be known as the Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (ESP) Club of (Name of
School).
ARTICLE II – PURPOSE
The ESP Club aims to:
1. Promote moral values, ethical conduct, and respect for human dignity.
2. Encourage students to live out values taught in the ESP curriculum.
3. Provide activities that foster discipline, respect, and concern for others.
4. Develop leadership, teamwork, and social responsibility among members.
ARTICLE III – MEMBERSHIP
Section 1. Eligibility – Any bona fide student of (Name of School) who demonstrates good
moral character and interest in values formation is eligible for membership.
Section 2. Requirements – Members must:
a. Attend at least 75% of meetings and activities.
b. Participate actively in club projects.
c. Follow the school’s Code of Conduct and the club’s Code of Ethics.
Section 3. Rights – Members have the right to:
a. Participate in all meetings, projects, and activities.
b. Express ideas and suggestions during discussions.
c. Be recognized for active participation and exemplary conduct.
Section 4. Duties – Members must:
a. Uphold the objectives of the club.
b. Respect and cooperate with officers, advisers, and fellow members.
c. Promote the good image of the club in and out of school.
ARTICLE IV – OFFICERS AND DUTIES
Section 1. List of Officers – President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations
Officer (PRO), Auditor (optional)
Section 2. Duties of Officers:
President – Presides over meetings, supervises activities, and represents the club.
Vice President – Assists the President and assumes duties in their absence.
Secretary – Records minutes of meetings, prepares correspondence, and keeps files.
Treasurer – Handles funds, maintains financial records, and prepares reports.
PRO – Disseminates information and promotes club activities.
Auditor – Reviews financial transactions and reports.
ARTICLE V – ELECTIONS AND TERM OF OFFICE
Section 1. Elections – Elections shall be held at the start of the school year. All members in
good standing are eligible to vote and run for office.
Section 2. Term of Office – Officers shall serve for one school year or until successors are
elected.
ARTICLE VI – MEETINGS
Section 1. Regular Meetings – Held once a month on a schedule agreed upon by the
members.
Section 2. Special Meetings – May be called by the President or Adviser when necessary.
Section 3. Quorum – A quorum shall consist of a majority of active members.
ARTICLE VII – CODE OF ETHICS
Members must:
1. Be courteous and respectful to all.
2. Uphold honesty and fairness in all dealings.
3. Avoid any act that may harm the club’s image.
4. Promote unity and cooperation.
5. Serve as role models in school and the community.
ARTICLE VIII – PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES
The club shall undertake, but not be limited to, the following:
- Values Education Month celebration.
- Leadership and values formation seminars.
- Outreach and community service projects.
- Anti-bullying and respect campaigns.
- Clean-up drives and environmental projects.
- Recognition of exemplary members.
ARTICLE IX – FUNDS
Funds shall come from membership fees, fund-raising activities, and donations.
All financial transactions must be documented and reported to members.
ARTICLE X – AMENDMENTS
Amendments to this Constitution and By-Laws may be proposed by any member and shall
take effect upon approval by a majority of members and the Adviser.
