1. Position: Project Manager for CWD Project – District Coordinator

Location : Mahottari, Rautahat, Bara, Saptari, Sirha, Morang, Jhapa, Dolakha, Lalitpur,
Rupandahi, Banke, Chitwan, Kaski, Parsa, Kanchanpur and Kailali
We are hiring for a project manager for our ongoing CWD project in Included district: the
Securing Access for Education Project is a five-year targeted endeavour from 2023 to 2028 that
aims to ensure targeted Labouring children in 19 public schools in Included Districts enjoy their
rights to education and help realize their full potential. CWD thus endeavours to increase the
learning achievements of targeted students through improvement of quality teaching and
learning environments at schools and communities.
Job Description:
The Area Manager will be the focal person for the CWD project, taking accountability to ensure
that the project meets its required outcomes and goals, ensuring that local partner NGO
performs and implements set activities with optimal quality and efficiency, and overall
responsible for all project compliances and requirements, in regular guidance and direction from
the Program Director.
Key Expectations:
● Accountability for the overall management and administration of the Project, including
timely and quality delivery of all project outputs.
● Preparation of project narrative and financial reports in English, with timely submission
and review with JSF NO and respective offices.
● Strong and effective guidance and leadership of the CWD project, including
management and guidance of PNGO project team through a clear and succinct
planning and monitoring system.
● Strong and efficient budget management and accountability to organization, partners
and stakeholders.
● Ensure that all project-related procurements are following organizational and legal
standards and specifications.
● Maintain good cooperation and coordination between national counterparts, project
partners and other relevant stakeholders.
● Perform any other additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the Program
Director.
Expected Skills and Qualifications:
● Demonstrable and proven project management experience of at least three to five
years in INGOs, with proven manager functions and line management of staff and
PNGO teams.
● Demonstrable competence and proficiency in written and spoken English with a proven
ability to produce project documents, donor reports, concept notes, and proposals.
● Competent understanding of project finances, donor requirements and compliances,
and overall institutional strengthening.
● Good understanding of national policies and standards in the field of children and
education.
● Additional demonstrable competence in the areas of children-focused programming
such as quality education and transformative growth, human rights and advocacy,
gender and social inclusion, gender-based violence, sustainable community-based
livelihoods through income-generating activities, and disaster risk preparedness and
resilience will also be key qualifiers.
● Master’s degree in social sciences, management, education or a related field of study
and 2 Year Experience
● Must have atleast 1 months Training of Project Management From relevant Institute.
Monthly income inclusive of all benefits for this position will range from NPR 1.15 L to 1.25 L.

Job Description:
The Project Assistant will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the CWD
project at the district level. They will assist in ensuring the project meets its required
outcomes and goals, coordinating with local partner NGOs, and ensuring quality
implementation of project activities under the guidance of the Project Manager.
Key Expectations:
● Assist in the overall management and administration of the project, ensuring timely
and quality delivery of all project outputs.
● Support in the preparation of project reports, including financial and narrative
reports in English, ensuring timely submission and review with JSF NO and
respective offices.
● Provide effective support to the CWD project team, ensuring smooth implementation
through a clear planning and monitoring system.
● Assist in budget management and accountability in collaboration with the Project
Manager and finance team.
● Ensure that all project-related procurements follow organizational and legal
standards and specifications.
● Maintain good coordination and cooperation between national counterparts, project
partners, and relevant stakeholders.
● Assist in organizing trainings, workshops, and community engagement programs as
per project requirements.
● Perform any other additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the Project
Manager and Program Director.
Expected Skills and Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, management, education, or a related field.
● Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in INGOs/NGOs, particularly in project
implementation and coordination.
● Training in Project Management from a relevant institute (mandatory).
● Competence and proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to assist
in producing project documents, reports, and proposals.
● Strong understanding of national policies and standards in the field of children’s
education and rights.
● Demonstrated knowledge in education-focused programming, child rights, gender
and social inclusion, and community-based development initiatives.
● Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
● Ability to work independently and in a team in diverse and challenging environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience working with child-focused projects in marginalized communities.
● Understanding of budget management and donor compliance requirements.

collection and reporting. The Field Supervisor will work under the guidance of the Project
Manager.
Key Expectations:
● Ensure the implementation of project activities in the field, following project
guidelines and timelines.
● Support the distribution of resources and monitor their proper utilization in schools
and communities.
● Conduct data collection, recording, and reporting on project activities, ensuring
accurate and timely submission of reports.
● Maintain good coordination and cooperation between project partners, stakeholders,
and community members.
● Assist in organizing trainings, workshops, and community engagement programs as
per project requirements.
● Perform any other additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the Project
Manager and Program Director.
Expected Skills and Qualifications:
● +2 (Higher Secondary) or Diploma in social sciences, management, education, or a
related field.
● Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in INGOs/NGOs, particularly in field
implementation and coordination.
● Training in Project Management from a relevant institute (mandatory).
● Competence and proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to assist
in producing project documents and reports.
