Corpus Christi Sequence

Let us praise the Savior, of this divine banquet,

he is our shepherd and guide. the banquet of the Lord.


Let us praise him with hymns

and songs of joy. This is the new Easter,

Easter of the only King,


Let us praise him without limits that ends with the alliance

and with all our strength; so heavy of the law.

for the Lord is so great,

that our praise is little. This new, always new,

it is the light of truth,

Today we joyfully acclaim what replaces the old

to Christ, who is our bread, with recent clarity.

for he is the bread of life,

that gives us immortal life. At that last supper


Christ performed the miracle

Twelve were those who dined. to leave his friends


and he gave bread to the twelve. the memorial of his life.

Then they ate it,

and then, all the men. Taught by the Church,


we consecrate bread and wine,

Be full of praise that redeem us men,

and filled with joyful songs; and give strength on the way.

Your Blood is our drink;

your Flesh, our food; When they leave the exterior,

Christ is fully complete. it is not a decrease

of the person of Christ.


Whoever eats it does not break it,

it does not split or divide; The bread that comes down from heaven

he is the whole and the part; it's food for travelers.


Life is in the one who receives it. It is bread for the children.

Don't let the dogs down!

It can be just one

he who approaches the altar, Isaac, the innocent,
