Power Requirements

 Start Up
• The heat gun is useful to solder plastics (joining, patching, tarmac vulcanizing, etc.), to remove decals and adhesives, to
loosen oxidized or tight metal nuts, to soften old filler in order to remove and substitute with new material, to remove paint,
to defreeze metal pipes, to apply anti-assault film in autos windshields, to dry paint, varnish, wet wood, etc., to fix shrinking
PVC film, to fix dents in auto’s fascias, to remove covering in adhesives, flooring, etc.

Switching and operation control

• Connect the plug into the power output.
• Move the switch into any of the two positions,
depending of the air volume and speed needed for the
job. Position 2 delivers a higher airflow than position 1.

Temperature control
• The air temperature expelled by the heat gun can be
determined turning the temperature control dial in the back
of the gun.
• Temperature selected can go from 113 °F (45 °C) and up
to 932 °F (500 °C)

Nozzle Setting
• Nozzles are set in the air duct applying pressure until
they stop.

completely before setting or replacing nozzles.

different manner according to their shape and to apply
heat for the various jobs.

Caulking Sheets
• The caulking sheets are used to scratch and remove
material like paint or glue, to apply materials like tar or
wax or to support the work piece that will receive the
heat.

 Puesta en marcha
• La pistola de calor es útil para soldado de plásticos (unión, parchado, vulcanizado de lonas, etc.), remover calcomanías y
adhesivos, aflojar tuercas metálicas oxidadas o demasiado apretadas, ablandar mastique viejo para retirarlo y sustituirlo por
uno nuevo, remover pintura, descongelar tuberías de metal, aplicar película anti-asalto en cristales automotrices, secar
pintura, barniz, madera mojada, etc., fijar envolturas encogibles de PVC, desabollar facias plásticas automotrices, retirar
recubrimientos de pisos adhesivos, etc.

Encendido y control de operación

• Conecte la clavija al tomacorriente.
• Mueva el interruptor a alguna de sus dos posiciones
dependiendo del volumen y velocidad de aire necesario
para el trabajo. La posición 2 ofrece un flujo de aire
mayor que la posición 1.

Control de temperatura
• La temperatura del aire expulsado por la pistola de calor
se puede determinar girando el control de temperatura
en la parte posterior de la pistola.
• La temperatura seleccionada puede ser de 45 °C a
500 °C.

Colocación de boquillas
• Las boquillas se colocan a presión y hasta topar en la
salida de aire.
ATENCIÓN • Espere a que la salida de aire se
enfríe por completo antes de colocar o cambiar una
boquilla.
• Las diferentes boquillas concentran y reparten el calor
de manera distinta según su forma, para aplicar calor
dependiendo de la tarea a realizar.

Láminas de calafateo
• La láminas de calafateo sirven para raspar y retirar
material como pintura o pegamento, para aplicar material
como brea o cera, o para sostener la pieza de trabajo a la
