Power Requirements
WARNING Tools with double insulation and reinforced insulation are built
with a polarized plug (one prong is wider than the other) This plug fits in any
polarized outlet and can only be connected one way. If the plug does not fit
completely into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it is not fitting, call a qualified
electrician or install a polarized outlet. Do not alter the plug in any way. Double
insulation eliminates the need of a three-prong grounded power plug or a
grounded electric system.

WARNING When using an extension cable, verify the gauge is enough for the power that your product needs.
A lower gauge cable will cause voltage drop in the line, resulting in power loss and overheating. The following table
shows the right size to use depending on cable’s length and the ampere capability shown in the tool’s nameplate.
When in doubt use the next higher gauge.

WARNING • This sharpener works for 118°bits
only. Attempting to sharpen bits with any other angle
will cause damage to the bit and sharpening stone.

Operation
1. Turn the knob (A) counterclockwise towards the 2
DOWN direction to set the stone in its lower position. B1
2. Insert the worn bit into the hole corresponding to its
diameter (B).
Inside each hole there are two guides (B1) so that the
cutting edge of the bit is aligned with the edge of the
stone. Slightly rotate the drill bit inside the hole until it fits
into the guides
3. Install the switch to the ON ( I ) position so that the
stone starts to rotate.
4. Turn the knob clockwise (towards the UP direction)
while holding the bit with your hand, until you hear the 3 4
grinding sound.
5. Hold the drill bit firmly while making contact with the
stone for 10 seconds.
6. Remove the bit and turn it 180°.
7. Insert the bit again 10 more seconds to sharpen the
second edge.
• If necessary, repeat the operation until both edges are
sharp.
• Set the switch in the Off position ( ) to stop the stone. 5 6

• Tighten the nut (C).
• Set the support (F) of the stone with precision on top

coincidir con la cavidad del soporte, de lo contrario,
aunque logre ensamblar la tapa, al encender el afilador
se dañará la carcasa plástica.

ADVERTENCIA • Este afilador funciona
únicamente para brocas de 118°. Intentar afilar brocas
de cualquier otro ángulo provocaría daños en la broca
y en la piedra de afilado.

Operación
1. Gire la perilla (A) en sentido opuesto a las manecillas 2
del reloj (hacia la dirección DOWN), para colocar la piedra B1
en su posición más baja.
2. Introduzca la broca gastada en el orificio
correspondiente a su diámetro (B).
Al interior de cada orificio hay dos guías (B1) para que el
borde de corte de la broca quede alineado al canto de la
piedra. Gire ligeramente la broca dentro del orificio hasta
que calce en las guías.
3. Coloque el interruptor en la posición de encendido ( I )
para que la piedra comience a girar.
4. Gire la perilla en sentido de las manecillas del reloj 3 4
(hacia la dirección UP) mientras sostiene con la mano la
broca, hasta que escuche el sonido de desbaste.
5. Sostenga firmemente la broca mientras se hace el
contacto con la piedra por 10 segundos.
6. Retire la broca y gírela 180°.
7. Introduzca la broca de nuevo para afilar el segundo
borde de corte por otros 10 segundos.
• De ser necesario repita la operación hasta que ambos
bordes de corte estén afilados. 5 6
• Coloque el interruptor en la posición de apagado ( )

• Gire la perilla en sentido opuesto a las manecillas del
reloj (hacia la dirección DOWN), para colocar la piedra en
su posición más baja (A).
ADVERTENCIA • Siempre comience el proceso de
afilado con la piedra en su posición más baja. No opere el
equipo con la piedra en la posición más alta sin una broca
insertada en uno de sus orificios, o de lo contrario la
cubierta puede sufrir daños.

Requerimientos eléctricos
ADVERTENCIA Las herramientas de doble aislamiento y aislamiento reforzado
están equipadas con una clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha que la otra). Esta
clavija cabe en cualquier enchufe polarizado y sólo puede conectarse de una forma. Si la
