Power Requirements
WARNING Tools with double insulation are equipped with a polarized plug
(one prong is wider than the other). This plug will only fit in the right way into a
polarized outlet. If the plug cannot be introduced into the outlet, reverse the plug. If
it still doesn’t fit, call a qualified electrician to install for you a polarized outlet. Do
not alter the plug in any way. Double insulation eliminates the need of both a
grounded third power cord with three prongs or a grounded power connection.

WARNING When using an extension cable, verify the gauge is enough for
the power that your product needs. A lower gauge cable will cause voltage drop in the line, resulting in power loss and
overheating. The following table shows the right size to use depending on cable’s length and the ampere capability shown in
the tool’s nameplate. When in doubt use the next higher gauge.

Loading the Battery
1. Plug in the charger in a 127 V~(The green light of the
charging indicator turns on) power outlet.

temperature in the battery is lower to 32 °F or higher than
113 °F. Wait until the battery temperature is in the
adequate level to be able to charge it.

General remarks for using the battery
The battery is shipped NOT CHARGED. It is necessary to charge the battery approximately 1 hour before being able to use it.
The normal charge is 32 °F to 113 °F. When not in this level the charge automatically stops until reaching the right temperature.
The normal temperature for discharge / work is 32 °F to 167 °F. If 167 °F are exceeded, the electronic control stops the tool
energy until the temperature reaches the temperature optimum new level. When the battery is below the normal tension while
working the tool stops working. Give the tool 15 minutes rest. In warm weather or after a long period of work the battery will get
too hot to recharge. Allow the battery to cool down before trying to charge again.

Install and remove the battery

• To install the battery in the tool handle, align the battery unit with the rails on C
the inside of the tool handle and slide it into the handle until the battery unit is
firmly inserted into the tool; check that it does not come off by itself.
• To remove the battery from the tool, press the release button (C) and firmly
pull the battery out of the tool handle.

Bits or adaptors assembly

• Place the direction button in the locked position (center).
• Hold the handle firmly with one hand, and with the other hand turn the chuck

Speed selection
• The two speeds in the drill work in a similar manner to those used in cars.
• Low speed (1) will give a lot of torque (torsion power). Use this speed when
starting to drill large orifices, be it wood or metal. This will prevent the bit to

• High speed (2) has a reduced torque but lets the drill operate with higher
revolutions per minute, that make the tool when in the drill function to bore

 Puesta en marcha
Consideraciones para el uso de la batería
La batería viene DESCARGADA de fábrica. Será necesario que la cargue por aproximadamente 1 hora antes de poder usarla.
La temperatura normal de carga es de 0 °C a 45 °C Fuera de este rango se suspende la carga automáticamente hasta que alcance la
temperatura correcta. La temperatura normal de descarga / trabajo es de 0 °C a 75 °C. Si los 75 °C se exceden, el control electrónico
apaga la energía de la herramienta hasta que la temperatura alcance de nuevo el rango óptimo de temperatura. Cuando la batería
está debajo de la tensión normal durante el trabajo, la herramienta deja de funcionar.
Entre cada carga, dé al cargador 15 minutos de descanso. En un ambiente cálido o después de uso prolongado, es posible que
la batería se caliente demasiado como para ser recargada. Permita que la batería se enfríe antes de intentar recargarla.
Instalar y retirar la batería
• Para instalar la batería en el mango de la herramienta, alinee la unidad de batería
con los rieles en el interior del mango de la herramienta y deslícela en el mango C
hasta que la unidad de batería quede firmemente insertada en la herramienta;
verifique que ésta no se salga sola.
• Para retirar la batería de la herramienta, presione el botón de liberación (C) y tire
firmemente de la de batería para sacarla del mango de la herramienta.
Instalación de brocas o adaptadores
• Coloque el botón de dirección en la posición de bloqueo (al centro).
• Sujete el mango firmemente con una mano y con la otra, gire el broquero en
sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj, para que las mordazas aflojen.
• Inserte la broca hasta el tope o retírela según sea el caso. Mordazas

El broquero cuenta con un seguro de retención que se activa al seguir girando

Selección de velocidad
• Las dos velocidades con que cuenta el rotomartillo funcionan de manera similar
a las que se usa en los autos.
• La velocidad baja (1) le dará mucho torque (poder de torsión). Use esta
velocidad cuando empiece a taladrar orificios grandes, ya sea en metal o concreto.
Esto evitará que la broca se atasque.
• La velocidad alta (2) tiene un torque reducido pero permite que el rotomartillo
opere a mayores revoluciones por minuto, lo que hará que el rotomartillo, en su
función de taladro, perfore más rápido la madera o metal delgado.
Cambio de rotomartillo / taladro / destornillador
• Para perforar hormigón, piedra baldosa o materiales de dureza similar, gire el
collarín selector de función a la posición de IMPACTO ( ). La broca dará
impactos sobre el material, girando al mismo tiempo. Utilice brocas de carburo
de tungsteno.
• Para perforar metal, madera o plástico, gire el collarín selector de función a la
posición de TALADRO ( ), para que la broca gire sobre el material.
• Para atornillar / desatornillar gire el collarín selector de función a la posición de
( ) para que la punta gire sobre el tornillo y tenga mayor control.
ADVERTENCIA• No intente perforar metal, madera o plástico con el Collarín selector
rotomartillo en el modo de IMPACTO. De lo contrario reduciría la eficiencia de la de función
herramienta, y dañaría la punta de la broca.

1. Conecte la clavija del cargador en un tomacorriente de
127 V~ (La luz verde del indicador de carga se encenderá).
2. Inserte la batería en el cargador deslizándola como se
muestra en la imagen. La luz verde se apagara y la luz roja
deberá encenderse, indicando que la carga se ha iniciado. 20V
