Preface
The true church of the Lord Jesus Christ lives in bad, dangerous days, of great
confusion and apostasy (1st Timothy 4:1, 2nd Timothy 3:1, Hebrews 13:9)
We are being hit by a terrible avalanche of apostasy in almost everything.
the planet, more than waiting for a 'great revival', as many leaders
they announce with vehemence, the bible predicts a great move of deception from the
hordes of the devil entering the churches, to confuse and mislead thousands of
believers of the right path, and of genuine faith, these are the days more
complicated for evangelical churches that believe, live, preach, and
they defend sound doctrine (Titus 2:1, Jude 3).

great biblical foundations, have some teachings that do not fit in

A) - "Calvinism and eternal security"; a dangerous
virus that is entering the church
In the midst of all the strong attacks that the church of Jesus Christ is facing
suffering, now a false and particularly heretical doctrine is penetrating
what is known as 'eternal security' and 'Calvinism' which comes from the
teachings of the famous French reformer John Calvin (Noyon 1509 –
Geneva 1564) who taught that; "all men, being sinners and

sovereign, and that these can never be lost, which would persevere
until the end without ever being able to depart from faith." This doctrine, Calvinism,
over the years, she summarized it in five points;
Total depravity.
02- Unconditional election.
Limited Atonement.
04- Irresistible grace.
05 - Perseverance of the saints.
This doctrine, born in the 16th century, is false, heretical, and unbiblical (although the
promoters of it try to apply a biblical Christianity varnish and the

B) The Five Points of Calvinism
Introduction
In Holland, in the year 1610, Jacob Arminius, a Dutch professor,
he/she dies, and his/her teachings are formulated by his/her followers, known as
Arminians,
the churches of Holland, in common with most Protestant churches
from Europe, they had adopted the Belgian Confessions of Faith and
Heidelberg, which adhere to Calvinist teachings. However,
the Arminians wanted to change this position, and presented their five points
in the form of a complaint or protest before the Dutch Court. The five points
the following were from Arminianism:
1. Free will or human capacity. This point taught that the
man, although affected by the fall of Adam, had spiritual capacity
to choose the spiritual good, and was able to exercise faith in God, in order to
receive the Gospel, and thus obtain salvation for oneself.
2. The conditional election. This point taught that God put His hands
about all those individuals that he knew, or anticipated, would respond to the
Gospel. God chose those people whom He saw would want to be
saved through their free will, despite their fallen natural state;
of course, in accordance with the first point of Arminianism, this
the state was not one of total decline or total depravity.
3. Universal redemption or general atonement. This point taught that
Christ died to save all men; but only in one way.
potential. The death of Christ made it possible for God to forgive the
fishermen, but only on the condition that they believed.
4. The work of the Holy Spirit in regeneration is limited by the
human will. This point taught that the Holy Spirit, when
the work of bringing a person to Christ can be effectively started
resisted and its purposes thwarted. It could not impart life unless the
Sinner, I would willingly have this life imparted to you.
5. The fall from grace. This point taught that a saved man could
Finally and definitely lose salvation. This is, of course, the result
logical and natural of the entire system. That is to say, if man must take the
initiative in your salvation, it is he who must hold the responsibility of
final result.
C) WHAT IS TULIP?
Sometimes the basic points of John Calvin's doctrine are
presentados en forma de un acróstico, usando la palabra "TULIP" (en inglés),
how does the Synod of Dor continue:
Man is completely incapable of saving himself because he is
totally fallen, due to the fall in the Garden of Eden. And if it is unable
to save himself, then God must save him. And if God must save him,
then God must be free to save whom He wants. If God has
decreed to save those whom He wants, then, it is for these that Christ
He made atonement on the cross. And if Christ died for them, then the Spirit
Saint will effectively call them to salvation. So, if salvation has
coming from the beginning of God, so the end will come from Him, and thus the
believers will persevere for eternal joy.
These are the so-called Five Points of Calvinism. We will see THE GREAT
LIE to which Charles Haddon Spurgeon referred when he declared:
It is no surprise, then, what I am preaching; it is not a new
doctrine. I love to proclaim those great ancient doctrines nicknamed
Calvinism, but what is truly the revealed truth of God, such
how it is in Christ Jesus.
D) THE FALSE FIVE POINTS OF THE
HERETICAL DOCTRINE
CALVINIST
TOTAL DEPRAVITY
The Calvinist statement says; 'When considering the first of the five
main points of Calvinism, certainly what should impress us
it is the fact that this system begins with something that must be fundamental in
the matter of salvation, that is, the correct valuation of the condition
spiritual of the person who is to be saved. If we have points of view
deficient or superficial regarding sin, then we will be subject to
to have misguided views regarding the necessary means for
salvation of the sinner. If we believe that the fall of man in the garden of
Eden was only something partial, so we will very likely be
satisfied with a salvation partially attributable to man, and
partially to God. The natural state of man is a state of
total depravity, therefore, there is a total incapacity on the part of the
man to win or to contribute to his own salvation.
That is to say, the complete personality of man has been affected by the
fall, and sin spread to all its faculties: the will, the mind and
the affections or emotions. We believe that the truth we assert is the
irrefutable teaching of the Word of God. The following passages from the
Scripture represents a selection of some passages that confirm the
Calvinist teaching on total depravity.
Furthermore, at this point they point out; "The Bible teaches with absolute clarity
that man, by nature, is DEAD: "... as sin entered into
the world for one man, and through sin death, thus death passed to
"all have sinned" (Romans 5:12). The Bible tells us
teach that men are SLAVES: "That with meekness he corrects
those who oppose, perhaps God may grant them to repent for
know the truth, and escape from the snare of the devil, in which they are held captive to
his will." (2 Timothy 2:25-26). The Bible teaches that men
they are BLIND AND DEAF: 'And he said to them: To you it is given to know the
mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things are in parables
things; so that seeing, they may see and not perceive; and hearing, they may hear and not understand
(Mark 4:11-12). The Bible teaches us that the natural man (not
regenerated), LACKS SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING: "But the
the natural man does not perceive the things that are of the Spirit of God, because
for him they are madness, and he cannot understand them, because they must be discerned
spiritually." (1st Corinthians 2:14). The Bible speaks of man as
beingNATURALLY sinful: 1) By birth: "Behold, in
I was formed in wickedness, and in sin my mother conceived me." (Psalm 51:5).
And the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the
earth, and that all the intentions of the thoughts of their heart were of
the inclination of the human heart is only evil all the time." (Genesis 6:5).
This is then the natural state of man. Therefore, we must
ask ourselves now: Can the dead resurrect themselves?
Can SLAVES free themselves? Can the BLIND
to see themselves or the deaf in the ear? Can those who
Lack of spiritual understanding teach themselves?
Can those who are NATURALLY INCLINED TO SIN,
change themselves? Certainly, they cannot" made us live through those
that we were 'dead in our trespasses and sins.' (Ephesians 2:1). The
salvation, therefore, by its very nature, must be 'of the Lord.'
BIBLICAL REFUTATION TO THE FIRST CALVINIST POINT; THE
TOTAL DEPRIVATION.
Regarding this first point, we absolutely agree that man
is intrinsically sinful and cannot be saved by itself in any way
same, and for this reason God sends a Savior, his own Son Jesus of Nazareth
(Eclesiastés 7:20, Jeremías 2:22, Eclesiastés 7:29, Génesis 6:5, Romanos
3:23, Romans 5:12). But despite the fact that man cannot be saved by himself
the same, and it does not have the moral and intellectual capacity to know God and
to achieve his salvation, the Bible says that man has a need
intrinsic to God and salvation, and that seeks it incorrectly. The
men are religious or in other words, "they join (bind) to an ethical creed and
of worship towards the divine" all human beings unite with something and that is
already a religion. Paul says;
Then Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: Men
Athenians, I see that you are very religious in every way; for as I was passing by
looking at your sanctuaries, I also found an altar on which was this
inscription: TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
to know him, is whom I announce to you. The God who made the world and all the
things that are in Him, being Lord of heaven and earth, do not dwell in
temples made by human hands, nor is honored by the hands of men,
as if he needed something; for he is the one who gives life and breath to all and all
things. And from one blood He has made all the lineage of men, so that
they inhabit the whole face of the earth; and He has predetermined the order of the
times, and the limits of their room; so that they may seek God, if in

of each one of us. For in him we live, and move, and are;
as some of your own poets have also said: For lineage
we are His. Therefore, being descendants of God, we must not think that Divinity

men"Acts 17:22-29.
In fact, that is one of the reasons why religions are born; forms
wrong, distorted, obtuse ways of seeking God (religion; "to reconnect")
All human beings have at some point felt the need, the yearning
to know God, and in their inner self, each person knows that a being exists
supreme and at some point each of us humans have felt the
strong and terrible burden of our sins. In all the cultures of the world,
even in the most primitive ones, men seek to connect with the divine,
but the human being does not know how, as it is completely lost and in
darkness, God therefore guides him, and Jesus presents himself as the way, the
light and the door (John 14:6, John 8:12, John 10:9) David Hunt in his book
"Calvinism: A False Representation of God" attacks Calvinism and casts
by land completely its five base points of Calvino's 'crazy idea'

Take a human understanding of 'dead', mix it with the understanding
immature understanding of the Word of God by the young John Calvin,
contaminated with Augustinian philosophy, shake it all up and you will get the theory of the
Total Depravity (p. 119).
"Yes, man is totally incapable of contributing even a bit to his salvation."
However, it cannot be deduced that it cannot therefore receive the
salvation offered freely in Christ” (p. 121).
The main passage about the New Birth is John 3. In the
verses 1-8 Jesus teaches Nicodemus that he must be born again, or
could not see the kingdom of God. In verse 9, Nicodemus asks him
Jesus, how can this be? In verses 10-21, Jesus responds to this.
ask and explain how a man is born again, and the answer is that
is born again for believing! (John 3:14-16). This is exactly what the
Calvinists say that the sinner cannot do. How can a man
dead believe?, they reason. Well, if we are going to take the analogy of the "man
"dead" literally, a dead man cannot sin either. When the
The Bible says that the sinner is dead in trespasses and sins means that
is separated from the divine life of God due to sin. To carry this
analogy beyond the real teaching of the Bible and giving it other meanings,
how to reason that since the sinner is dead in offenses and
sins should not be able to believe, it is to move from truth to heresy.
Calvinism offers a special definition of human depravity: that
deprivation is equal to incapacity – and this special definition requires
both Unconditional Election and Irresistible Grace. …However,
there is no verse in the Bible that presents the radical idea of
Calvinism states that the sinner is incapable of believing in the Gospel offered to him.

His grace, and then he denies them the grace they need and punishes them.
eternally for not obeying, it is to mock the Word of God, of His
mercy and love, yes to defame His character” (pp. 93, 94, 96).
02. UNCONDITIONAL ELECTION;
The Calvinist statement says; 'Unconditional election is correctly
exposed in the Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689, which we quote below
as a useful summary. Unconditional choice is also sustained, almost in
identical terms, in the Westminster Confession of Faith, in the Thirty and
Nine Articles of the Church of England, and in the main confessions
of almost all the churches that have historical roots.
To those of humanity who are destined for life, says the
Baptist Confession, 'God (before the foundation of the world, according to His
eternal and unchangeable purpose and the secret counsel and the goodwill of His
will), He has chosen them in Christ for eternal glory, solely by His
free grace and love, without being moved by anything in the creature,
as a condition or cause." (Chapter 3, Article 5).
The doctrine of unconditional election naturally arises and
logic of the doctrine of total depravity. That is, if man is
dead in deed, captive in sin, blind, deaf, without spiritual understanding
is naturally inclined to sin, then the remedy to solve
all this condition must be found outside the man himself, that is, in
God. Man cannot resurrect himself. However, if some
men and women resurrected from their spiritual death, (born again
it is the term used by the Gospel of John), and since they are not
capable of carrying out this work by themselves, then we must conclude
It was God who raised them spiritually. On the other hand, since

Adam was a total failure, and if only God can save, then not everyone is.
saved, then the conclusion must be that God has not chosen to save
all.
Why would God choose, completely disregarding the laws
relatives of Israel, the youngest son of Jacob, instead of the firstborn
Esau? Once again we must refer to "the law and the testimony." The Scripture
(for they had not yet been born, nor had they done either good or evil, for
that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not by works
works but by the one who calls), it was said: The greater shall serve the lesser. As it is
It is written: 'Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.' (Romans 9:11-13).
What was the doctrine that Jesus preached in the synagogue of Nazareth, but the
doctrine of unconditional election? "And truly I say to you that many
there were widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was closed by
three years and six months, and there was a great famine in all the land; but to
none of them was sent Elijah, but to a widow in Zarephath of
Sidon. And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha; but
None of them was cleansed, but Naaman the Syrian." (Luke 4:25-27).
We know the outcome of our Lord preaching this.
Upon hearing these things, everyone in the synagogue was filled with anger; and
rising up, they threw him out of the city, and they took him to the top of the
mount on which their city was built, to throw him down.
(Luke 4:28-29).

having predestined us to be adopted as His children through
Jesus Christ, according to the pure affection of his will." (Ephesians 1:4-5), and so continues the
testimony of the Scriptures.
Certainly, instead of arguing against these things, we should
to be doing what the Holy Spirit commands us through the apostle Peter:
Therefore, brothers, all the more strive to make your calling and election sure
election..."(2 Peter 1:10).
BIBLICAL REFUTATION OF THE SECOND CALVINIST POINT; THE
UNCONDITIONAL ELECTION.
Believing that God only predestined a group of people to be saved and to
other people consequently God did not want to save, it is absolutely
false, it makes God a dictatorial, exclusivist, discriminatory, and deceitful leader.
Point out all the scripture with clear certainty that God wants everyone to

another very different thing;

It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first; but

Dave Hunt refutes this second point of Calvinism with this strong
argument
It is clear that Calvinism rests on a mistaken opinion of what
It means for God to be sovereign. ...The basic problem of the Calvinist is the
failure to see that God could sovereignly give man the power of the
genuine election... Giving the man the power to make a choice
genuine and independent does not diminish God's control over His universe.
Being omnipotent and omniscient, God can arrange the circumstances of
a way that prevents man's rebellion from thwarting His purposes. In fact,
God can and even uses man's free will to help him
fulfill His own plans and thus be glorified even more” (pp. 128,129).
"To suggest that God would lack 'power' (and thus His sovereignty would be denied) if
He would make a genuine offer of salvation and some would reject it, it is
framing the proposition incorrectly. The authority has no relation
with the grace and love that provide salvation. In fact, as we will see,
there are many things that God cannot do, and a lack of 'power' is not one of them.

03. LIMITED ATONEMENT
The Calvinist statement says; "This doctrine not only brings us to
central theme of the five points, but also to the central reality of the
Gospel, that is, the purpose of Christ's death on the cross. This is not
accidental. The theologians who took on the task of defending the truths of
the Protestant Reformation, against the attacks of the Arminian party,
they were following a biblically logical line in their formulations,
thus having arrived at the very axis of salvation.
Since some men and women are undoubtedly saved,
Then it must have been God himself who saved them, in distinction from the rest.

Savior, but a just God and Savior. This atonement, like all of us.
we recognize, was accomplished through the voluntary submission of Christ to the
death on the cross, where He suffered under the justice of this righteous God, and obtained
the salvation that He as Savior had ordained. On the cross, then, and
undoubtedly we all accept this, Christ took the punishment and obtained it
salvation.
The death of Christ could only have been for three reasons: to save
everyone; either to save no one in particular; or to save a certain
number. The third viewpoint is the one held by us Calvinists and
it is generally called limited atonement, or particular redemption. Christ
died to save a specific number of sinners; that is, for those
that the Father "... chose in him before the foundation of the world." (Ephesians
1:4); for those whom the Father had given him from the world, all those "who
You gave me; for they are yours." (John 17:9); those for whom He himself said
that He would shed His blood: 'for this is my blood of the new covenant, which
for many is poured out for the remission of sins.
We assert that this is the position that truly does justice to
the purpose of Christ coming to this earth to die on the cross. "... and

(Matthew 1:21). Not to the Jews, certainly, because the Jews were not

She. (Ephesians 5:25). Who was delivered for our sins, and resurrected
justification through his resurrection." (Romans 4:25). Who does the Spirit speak of?
Saint when they say our, our? Are they perhaps talking about the world? No.
We are overlooking the fact that there are some Scriptures that refer to
to the world, and many people have taken them as their starting point in the
matter of redemption. However, when we compare Scripture with
in the Scripture, we see that the use of the word 'world' does not imply
necessarily to 'every man and every woman in the world.' Did God have the
intention to save all men or not? If He did not try to save everyone
the men without exception, but only to the chosen ones, then the work of
Christ on the cross was a glorious success and we are right to believe that
"All that the Father gives me will come to me..." (John 6:37). On the other hand, if
God's intention was to save the whole world, then the atonement of
Christ has been a great failure, because a vast number of men have not

BIBLICAL REFUTATION OF THE THIRD CALVINIST POINT; THE
LIMITED ATONEMENT
Even the Jehovah's Witnesses (one of the most heretical sects in the world) could

that Jesus did not die for all, but only for some (the chosen ones) goodness me

The devil powerfully deceived the worshipers of his ministry, he is the

By studying the sacred scriptures and God's plan for the world in a way
systematically the following conclusions are drawn;
The central character of the Bible is Jesus Christ.
b) The anti-hero and main enemy of God is the devil.
c) Sin is man's great problem.
The central theme of the Bible is the salvation of man.
Only faith in Jesus can save man.
God loves all men and desires the salvation of all of them.
The Bible is very clear on this topic; God wants the salvation of everyone.

If Christ died for all men, He paid the price of sin and poured out His

they repent with all their heart to God.

David Hunt continues to say;
Moreover, wouldn't it be a deformation of the worst kind to offer salvation to
anyone who wants, when it was actually intended only for
a chosen few? ...to assert that "everyone" means only a select group
called the chosen violently contradicts the plain meaning of the language and challenges the
character of God; and he does this in order to impose upon the Word of God

One of the sad characteristics of Calvin's Institutes is the language
degrading that is continuously used (very similar to Luther) to defame
to all those who do not agree with him” (p. 233).
There is no way in which the death of Christ could be limited to paying only
for the sins of the chosen ones. To save even one person from
eternal punishment, regardless of whether one had committed few or many sins,
Christ had to pay the penalty for sin required by His infinite justice.
By its very definition, then, the death of Christ on the Cross paid the penalty.
for the very sin that hangs over the heads of all humanity
(p. 251)
"Tragically, the distortion of God by Calvinism has"
causing many to distance themselves from the God of the Bible as if they were from a
monster" (p. 287).
Certainly, just as God himself cannot force anyone to love him (a
coerced response is the opposite of love), so would everything else
contrary to grace, to force any gift or benefit of 'grace' upon
someone who wouldn't want to receive it
Sometimes, Calvino himself seemed to be ambivalent about this issue. He did
statements both supporting unlimited atonement and at other times to
the favor of limited atonement. Referring to Isaiah 52:12, he said, 'upon Him was
put the guilt of the entire world'. As for Mark 14:24, 'This is
my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many.' Calvin said,
The word many does not mean a part of the world, but the whole race.
‘ humana’. Regarding 1 John 2:2, Calvin declared, ‘Christ suffered for the
sins of the whole world and in the goodness of God is offered to all
men without distinction, having their blood shed... for the entire race

they or even with Calvin are still called 'Calvinism' by the whole world
(pp. 262, 263).
04. THE IRRESISTIBLE GRACE
The Calvinist statement says; "Once again, this fourth point of the
the belief of the Calvinist system is the logical result of everything we have
seen before. If men are unable to save themselves
due to their fallen nature, and if God has proposed to save them, and Christ has
their salvation accomplished, then, it follows logically that God
must also provide the means to call them to the benefits of the
salvation that He has obtained for them. However, the Calvinist system of
theology, although deeply logical, is much more than a mere system
logical. It is a system of pure biblical belief, which is firmly established
supported by the Word of God. Then, the doctrine of irresistible grace
it is not an invention of the men who wrote the Five Points of
Calvinism at the Synod of Dort, but the manifest revelation of the holy
Word of God. For example, Romans 8:30 says: "...And those whom he predestined,
He also called them." That is to say, God not only chooses men and women
for salvation; He also calls all those whom He has chosen.
What does 'irresistible grace' mean? We know that when the
The Gospel is preached in the church, or outdoors, or through the Word.
from God read, not all people pay attention to his call. Not all the
people come to be convinced of their sins and of their need to
Christ. This explains the fact that there are two callings. There is not only one
external call; but also an internal one. The external call
can be described as: "the words of the preacher," and this call,
when it is performed, it can act in different ways, in dozens of
different hearts, producing different results. However, there are
one thing that this call cannot do: it will not carry out the work of
salvation in the sinful soul. For a work of salvation to be forged.
in the soul, the external calling must be accompanied by the calling
internal of the Holy Spirit of God, because it is He who will "convince of
sin, of righteousness, and of judgment." (John 16:8). And when the Holy Spirit
calls by His grace a man, a woman, or a young person, this
the call is irresistible: that is to say, this call cannot be frustrated,
because it is the manifestation of God's irresistible grace.
Everything that the Father gives me will come to me; and the one who comes to me, I will not cast out.
outside." (John 6:37). Note that it is those whom the Father has given to Christ (the
chosen), those who will come to Him; and when they come to Him, they are not cast out.
No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them; and
I will raise him up at the last day." (John 6:44, RVA). Here, our Lord is
simply saying that it is impossible for men to come to Him on their own
the same ones; the Father must bring them.
It is written in the prophets: And they shall all be taught by God. Therefore,
Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me." (John 6:45).
men can hear the external calling; but they are those who have been
taught by the Father, who will respond and come to Christ. Thus,
Simon Peter: "Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah, for you have not been revealed to you...
revealed neither flesh nor blood, but my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 16:15-
17).
4.- "For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons.
of God." (Romans 8:14).
But when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother's womb,
He called me by his grace." (Galatians 1:15)
6.- But you are a chosen lineage, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people
acquired by God, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you
the darkness into his marvelous light.
7.- "But the God of all grace, who called us to his eternal glory in
Jesus Christ... (1st Peter 5:10).
Arminians believe that men and women have the capacity to resist the
call of the Gospel of God, and so they do. Therefore, they oppose
saying that there cannot be such a doctrine of the irresistible grace of God.
We believe that men and women can not only endure the Gospel.
of God, as they indeed do; but also, due to their nature

existence of a doctrine like the doctrine of irresistible grace. In other
words, our souls must be placed under a greater influence

based on the three previous ones, so it would not be necessary to argue more about

we will see what the Bible says about this Calvinist doctrine called 'grace'
irresistible. God is sovereign, it's true, He has all the power, it's true, He is the
owner of the world and its creatures, it is true; but he cannot trample the
the will of man in no way.
Man is not a machine, an automaton, a robot, or a computer.
as this doctrine intends to make us believe, God touches the heart of man,
calls him, convinces him of sin through the Holy Spirit (John 16:18),
reveals His grace, brings him out of darkness and illuminates the heart as it says in the
scripture (Titus 2:11, John 8:12,) but does not override his will, for
God created him with free will. God touches him, seduces him, convinces him of sin.
and brings it with ties of love but does not crush its will and capacity of

and you defeated me; every day I have been mocked, everyone ridicules me
O Lord, you deceived me, and I was deceived; you overpowered me and prevailed. I am ridiculed all day long; everyone mocks me.
Can man then resist the grace of God? The Bible has the
response;

always to the Holy Spirit; as your fathers were, so are you
Acts 7:51.

we will serve the Lord” Joshua 24:15.
This verse spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ condemns and brings down to the ground.
this false doctrine of irresistible grace 'And you do not want to come to me so that

Dave Hunt in his book talks about irresistible grace.

coerced response is the opposite of love), so would everything be

05. THE PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS
The Calvinist declaration says: 'As a final point to the doctrine of the
perseverance of the saints. In order to summarize, we will refer to it again.
to the Baptist Confession, which is in agreement on this point with the others
historical confessions of faith. "Those whom God has accepted in the
Beloved, and called effectively and sanctified by His Spirit, and to whom
has given the precious faith of His chosen ones, they cannot fall either totally or
definitely of the state of grace, but they will certainly persevere in it
until the end, and they will be saved for all eternity, since the gifts and the
the call of God is irrevocable...
Chapter 17; paragraph 1). Again we are going to demonstrate that this is
exactly what the Scriptures teach us.
For those whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be
conformed to the image of his Son, so that he would be the firstborn
among many brothers. And those whom he predestined, he also called; and to the
whom he called, these he also justified; and whom he justified, these he also
glorified. What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
we?... Therefore, I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor
angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor
neither height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from love
of God, who is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:29-31; 38-39).
Once again, we must acknowledge the fact that everything that men of
Synod of Dort (and all those who teach in the same way), they were
doing, was to put into a small scheme, in a way
systematic, the teachings of the Gospel of free and sovereign grace of
God. If man cannot save himself, then God must save him.
If not all men are saved, then God has not saved everyone. If
Christ has made satisfaction for sins, so this atonement is for
the sins of those who are saved. And if God intended to reveal this
salvation in Christ to the hearts of all those whom He chose
save, then God will provide the necessary and effective means to
do it this way. Therefore, if having decreed to save, having died
to save, having called salvation to those who never
They would save themselves; then, He will also preserve those saved.
until eternal life, for the glory of His Name.
Being persuaded of this, that He who began in you the good work,
He will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ.
God contains multiple references to this blessed truth. "And this is
the will of the Father, who sent me: That of all that He gives me, not
I should lose nothing of what He has given me, but raise it up on the last day." (John 6:39). "And I will...
I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, nor shall anyone snatch them out of my hand.
Because if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by
the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by
his life." (Romans 5:10). "Now, then, there is no condemnation for the
who are in Christ Jesus..." (Romans 8:1).
The incomparable verses of Romans 8:28-29 show the logic in the
eternal salvation of God; the logic that Calvinism affirms. Salvation
what begins in the mind and purpose of God, must end in it
complete fulfillment of Your unyielding purpose that 'those who
before they knew," may they be united eternally with their Savior."
REFUTATION TO THE FIFTH CALVINIST POINT; THE
Perseverance of the Saints
We conclude this forceful and biblical refutation of these four points.
previous ones, with the last one being one of the most known and preached by the
defenders of Calvinism; the doctrine of 'once saved, always saved' or as they
they call "the perseverance of the saints." I think that one of the most
interested in making Christians believe that we will never be lost and that we do not
What we do doesn't matter, we are always saved, it is undoubtedly the devil,
the father of lies (John 8:44).
This is a great lie, our salvation is in Christ, it is always secure and

of the Lord Jesus Christ and abandons his grace, will inevitably be lost. The
the Bible is full of warnings both in the Old Testament and in the New Testament for the

danger that exists for Christians if they neglect, that they may fall from the

what I have conversed, debated, and I have heard them express, they show a noticeable
spirit of arrogance, of pride, an instinctive feeling of superiority
about others, and an attitude of contempt towards the brothers who do not accept
their doctrine. They generally possess knowledge and have a deep understanding of
theology, and those who contradict them are treated as ignorant, lacking in
revelation and theology (as if theology could save and was above
from the scriptures!). As a well-known Chilean preacher says; "Pride is

The Bible does say that we can be believers and be lost if we are careless;

One of the main arguments of the Calvinists to assert that the
salvation cannot be lost it is to argue that believers have their name
written in the book of life before the foundation of the world (not in the
moment of their conversion) and for that reason they can never be erased from that
book, the bible says that we can be erased;
Then Moses returned to the Lord and said: I beseech you, for this people has
committed a great sin, because they made gods of gold, that you forgive
now your sin, and if not, tell me now about your book that you have written. And the Lord
He answered Moses: 'Whoever sins against me, I will erase that one from my book.'
So Moses returned to the Lord and said, 'Oh, what a great sin these people have committed! They have made themselves gods of gold. But now, please forgive their sin, but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written.' The Lord replied to Moses, 'Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book.'

Final words
Dear brothers in the common faith, we must be aware that God is
the only savior of the world (Isaiah 45:21), that all men are
fishermen (Romans 3:23), that the love of God is for everyone and not just for one.
arbitrarily selected group (John 3:16), that the greatest sin of
man is the disbelief and denial of the Son of God (John 3:18), that
Every man who loses his soul in hell will do so because of his sin and having
rejected the offer that God freely gives in Christ Jesus (Romans
6:23), that everyone who comes to Christ and receives him will be saved (John 1:12)
that we are saved by His grace (Galatians 2:8-9), that we must depend on Him
grace and mercy at all times (2nd Timothy 2:1) and that we must
remain faithful and firm until the end (Acts 13:43).
David Hunt clarifies the topic even further by saying;
...my firm disagreement with Calvinism is not about sovereignty
God, whom I embrace completely and to whom I submit. The question is whether
God loves everyone without exception and desires that all be saved.
Undoubtedly, Calvinism denies such love; but the Bible, in the
clearer language repeatedly declares God's love for everyone and His
desire that all be saved and that none perish” (pp. 301, 302).
We consider that the acronym TULIP is a libel against our lover and
merciful God as He reveals Himself both in His Word and
in human consciousness” (p. 304).
The very fact that Paul, Apollos, and the other early evangelists have
spent so much time and energy persuading men to
they believed the Gospel is completely contrary to the concepts of
Total Depravity and Irresistible Grace (p. 324)
...The Calvinist has boldly changed the word 'world' so that
means 'chosen' in no less than twenty scriptures. It has changed 'everything
those' and 'all' to 'chosen' at least sixteen times each. In addition, the
the phrase 'every man' has been changed to 'chosen' six times and 'each one' to
'chosen' three times. In all cases where these changes have been
facts, there is nothing in the text that justifies 'chosen' as the meaning
of the word by which it must be replaced. The change has been made by
a single reason: to make room for Calvinism! (p. 332).
Naturally, no one seeks the Lord; all of us seek our
selfish desires and no one can come to Christ unless the Father draws them.
Attract. But the Holy Spirit is in the world to convince everyone of his
sin and need (John 16:8-11), the Gospel is being preached, the
Father is attracting everyone (even through the testimony of the
creation and consciousness) (p. 339).
Calvin's nearly complete agreement with Augustine is nothing less than
amazing. Calvino called himself 'an Augustinian theologian'. From Augustine
he said, 'to whom we frequently cite as being the best and most faithful witness
of all antiquity’. It is the Calvinists themselves who insist on the connection
between Calvin and Augustine. McGrath writes, 'Above all, Calvin
he considered his thinking as a faithful exposition of the main ideas
from Augustine of Hippo'. ... How could one of the main leaders of the
Reform embrace fully the doctrines of him who has been called 'the
true Roman Catholic primer' and the 'main theological creator of
Latin-Catholic system so different from... Evangelical Protestantism...?

To better explain the doctrine of election and predestination of the
believers in Christ Jesus, we will cite what the Pentecostal study Bible says
on page 1685; "...One could use the analogy of a great ship
heading to heaven. God chooses the vessel (the church) to be his ship
personal. Christ is the captain and the pilot of that ship. All who desire
being part of that chosen ship and its captain can be done through the

company of the captain, they are among the chosen ones. If they choose to abandon the
ship and the captain cease to be among the chosen. The choice is always only in
union with the captain and his ship. Predestination has to do with destiny
from the ship and with what God has prepared for those who remain in it.
God invites everyone to board the ship, through faith in Jesus Christ.
