GENERIC DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS
GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Execute activities in the field of psychology by attending to patients and applying instruments.
evaluation technicians and other practices, in order to assist one or more psychologists of a unit

FUNCTIONS, ACTIVITIES AND/OR TASKS

Assists the public that requests information.

Classify, encode, and file the patients' records.

Applies and corrects simple psychological and psychometric tests.

Schedule appointments for interviews with psychologists.

Encode simple psychological and psychometric tests.

Assist the psychologist in administering group psychological tests.

Score the psychological tests.

Compare the results with the norm tables.

Promote courses and workshops to be taught.

Enroll students in courses and workshops to be held.

Keep a record of courses taught or to be taught and the number of patients.

Archive the psychological and psychotechnical tests.

Transfer the psychometric tests to the professionals in charge of the case.

Transcribe and access information by operating a microcomputer.

Comply with the rules and procedures regarding comprehensive security, established
for the organization.

Keeps equipment and work site in order, reporting any anomalies.


Prepare periodic reports of the activities carried out.

Performs any other related task assigned to it.

Bachelor.

EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) years of progressive operational experience in the assistance area.

KNOWLEDGE IN:
Techniques and statistics applied to psychology.
Practices used in the correction of psychological tests.
The application of psychometric tests.
Practices used in the administration of psychological tests.

ABILITY TO:
Administer psychological tests.
Compare the results obtained from the tests.
Deal with the public in a polite manner.
Prepare simple technical reports.
Correct psychological tests.

SKILLS IN:
File management.
Computer management.

REQUIRED TRAINING:
Psychological techniques.
Human relationships.
Transactional analysis.
Teaching techniques.
