FIELDS OF ACTION OF BIOLOGY

Byron Eduardo Nufio Martínez

Fifth Year of Computer Science

Jalapa, Guatemala
Fields of action of biology
Histology:
Histology is the discipline that studies the tissues of animals and plants.
as they come together, they reproduce among themselves, thus having knowledge
about each molecule that relates to others either in a medium way or
directly. For this, an optical microscope can be used or
electric.

Cytology:
Cytology, also called cell biology, is a specialty of the
biology that is responsible for studying the structure and processes of the
cells, which are a fundamental unit of all living beings. The cells
when they are in a normal state they are taken to a branch called biology
cellular, and when they are damaged or in a pathological process they are framed
in another branch called cytopathology.

Biophysics:
Biophysics is the discipline that unites biology, which is a science that
studies all the diversity of the environment and its development, with physics
What is the study of all the laws of nature and uses them in a manner
of formulas. Biophysics is a new path that opens up between these two
sciences, and studies the physical processes of living beings in their entirety
complexity and wholeness.

Paleontology:
Paleontology is responsible for studying fossils and objects that
they show evidence of human evolution and have knowledge of
what life forms were like, as well as their environment and some traditions
and customs. This science is also responsible for studying how they were
the weather conditions and the environment.

Ecology:
Ecology studies how living beings relate to each other and to their environment.
habitat and the climatic conditions they live in. In the same way
determines how they are distributed, organized, and grow in number. Ecology
it encompasses all living beings, and for that reason, it is divided into sublevels,
these levels range from the smallest to the largest, and these go
from cells to entire ecosystems.
Physiology:
It is responsible for studying the different functions of living beings, such as
what each function of the organism carries out and likewise the activities
daily. This science is closely related to anatomy.

Anatomy:
It is the science that is responsible for studying the structure and location of
all the organs of living beings, in the same way that
organs are related to each other and perform functions. Anatomy provides a
detailed description in an image of what the human body is like
inside.

Taxonomy:
Taxonomy is the science that is responsible for separating living beings.
according to their classification and species to have a specific order in the
biodiversity. It is responsible for identifying or naming each
organism.

Embryology:
It is the science that is responsible for the study of the development of an embryo to
from its fertilization until it becomes a fully developed fetus
formed.

Biochemistry:
It is the science that deals with the study of compounds and reactions.
chemicals of living beings, such as all the nutrients that
they make up the entire body, as well as how they unite and
they transform into others.

Evolution:
Evolution is the science that deals with the study of history through
of time and that can create theories about the process that resulted in
final result everything we know currently.

Genetics:
It is the science that is responsible for the study of genes and the DNA of living beings.
alive, similarly try to explain how they are transmitted
genes and biological inheritance among families.
Biology According to the Organisms It Studies
Protozoology:
It is a part of biology that focuses solely on the study of
the microorganisms called protozoa. This applies in some
medications, protozoa are composed of a single
structure that is very similar to that of a cell.

Phycology:
Phycology or algology is the science that deals with the study of
marine algae, of all kinds, this is a discipline that derives
from botany and is framed within this discipline since algae
they possess the main characteristics of all plants such as
stem, root, leaves and fruits in some cases.

Botany:
Botany is characterized by the study of all living beings of
plant type, and is responsible for studying how they reproduce, and
they survive in their natural habitat, in the same way their way of
to feed oneself.

Bacteriology:
It is a discipline that is in charge of the study of all living beings.

before various types of tests, in the same way as its form of

destroy them.

Zoology
It is responsible for the study of all living beings of the animal type, their
way of life, reproduction and how they survive in their
natural environment, as well as the way they obtain food and their
way to defend oneself.

Mycology:
It is a science that deals with the study of all fungi, this

around the world and this science has contributed many advances in the
medicine. It studies in the same way how they reproduce, their
appearance in different places and the way they feed and
protect against predators.
Virology:
It is the study of microscopic beings found in different.

nutrition and infection.

it is estimated that only 1% of all has been studied
microorganisms that exist on our planet.

Biology According to the animals it studies

Herpetology:
It is the science that studies all reptiles and amphibians.
way of surviving in the natural habitat and how they develop among themselves, their
mating and defense form.

Ornithology
It is the science that studies all kinds of birds that exist.
currently, its defense mechanism, its main characteristics and its
form of feeding. How new species emerge every day, etc.

Entomology:
It is the science that is responsible for studying all types and classes of
insects, according to their classification, their defense mechanism and how it is that
they survive in the natural environment, their means of defense and their characteristics
main.

Mammalogy:
Study all types of mammals, their method of reproduction,
main characteristics and how they find food in their habitat
natural.

Ichthyology:
Study the types of fish that exist in the sea, their defense mechanisms against the
predators and how they feed in their natural habitat.
