C r o c h e t P a t t e r n

BEE-REX

dedication and spreads love to those who enjoy crochet. If you

Level:
Before you start, you should carefully read what you need to know and
the tools to prepare.
Materials Abbreviations
1. Yarn Weight: Sport | Fine (2) MR: Magic Ring
2. Color: Yellow, Black and White st(s): Stitch(es)
3. 3.5mm (E) Hook sl st: Slip stitch
4. Stitch marker ch: Chain
5. Sewing needle SC: Single crochet
6. Scissors INC: Increase
7. Plastic safety eyes (8mm) DEC: Decrease
8. Fiberfill DC: Double crochet
BO: Bobble stitch ( 5loops)

NOTE
You need to prepare 1/2 skein of each color.
The pattern is written using crochet terminology common in the US.
The size of the finished piece may vary based on the yarn used and
the tension of your stitches. The size is about 13cm ~ 5.11inch

CROCHET FROM THE HEAD UP TO THE BODY
You need to end the round with a slip stitch and start each new row with a chain.
The first stitch of the new row will crochet into the slip stitch from the previous
row. This way, you will maintain the correct stitch count for each row the yarn.
When the text is bold and underline, switch to BLACK yarn.
Begin with yellow yarn

Fasten off and cut the yarn
SPIKES:
Use black yarn
Crochet spikes at the chains in R1, spikes at the line from head to tail:
(3CH, DC in the next stitch, SLST in the next stitch) repeat 11 times.
Cut the yarn
WINGS x2:
Use white yarn
Row 1: 6SC in a MR (6)
Row 2: 6INC (12)
Row 3: (SC, INC) 6 times (18)
Cut the yarn and leave a long tail for further
crocheting.
Mark rows 11 and 12 of the body section, then begin slipping stitch in
the next 2 stitches of the wing to join the wing and the body.
