Supplies:
1. Himalaya Dolphin Baby in green, white, beige, orange; Yarn Art in black, white and blue
for eyes
2. 3.5 and 2.0 mm crochet hooks
3. Toys stuffing (sintepon, holofiber)
4. Scissors, large eye needle for joining parts

Abbreviations (US terms):


MR- magic/amigurumi ring
sc - single crochet stitch (the number indicates the number of sc)
dc - double crochet
dc inc - increase = 2 double crochet stitches in one stitch
ch - chain stitch
inc - increase = 2 stitches in one stitch
dec - decrease = 2 stitches together
sl st - slip stitch
t – times (of repeat)

Eyes
Left and right eyes are crocheted different, with Yarn Art Jeans, using 2.0 mm hook

Left eye
1 rnd: work in black, 6 sc into MR = 6 sc
2 rnd: (inc)*6t = 12 sc
3 rnd: (1 sc, inc)*6t = 18 sc
4 rnd: work in blue, 2 sc, 3 inc, 2 sc, sl st (11 sts in blue in total), go on working in black, 10
sl st (21 sts)

5 rnd: work in white, 1 sl st, (1 sc, inc)*3t, 1 sc, 3 sl st (14 sts), fasten off.

6 rnd: turn the eye wrong side towards yourself and work 10 sl st in black. Leave 4 sc in
white uncrocheted.

Right eye
1 rnd: work in black, 6 sc into MR = 6 sc
2 rnd: (inc)*6t = 12 sc
3 rnd: (1 sc, inc)*6t = 18 sc
4 rnd: work in blue, 1 sl st, 2 sc, 3 inc, 2 sc, (11 sts in blue in total), go on working in black,
10 sl st
5 rnd: work in white, 3 sl st, 1 sc, (inc, 1 sc)*3t, 1 sl st (14 sts), fasten off.
6 rnd: count the 5th st from the bottom of the round in white and place marker. Turn the
eye wrong side towards yourself and work 9 sl st in black from the point you placed
marker.

6 rnd: Fold the piece in half and single crochet 15 through both edges in green
7 rnd: 15 sl st in black, finish the row and weave in the yarn tail.

1 rnd: chain 10 in orange, work from the 2nd st from hook as follows: (3 sc to

2-6 rnds: 20 sc
7 rnd: 4 sc, 2 dc, dc inc, 2 dc, 2 sc, 2 sl st, leave a yarn tail for sewing.

Toy decoration
Sew the beak over rounds 15 - 18. Stuff the beak slightly. Sew the grey
eye mask parts over rounds 12 - 18. Please mind that the grey parts
should be 2 sc away from the beak
