Swaraj Group came into existence with the establishment of P.T.L. on June 27,1970. The company was Indias first large scale Farm Equipment enterprise based on totally indigenous design and technology , and was promoted by Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation with the help of the Govt. of India and public financial institutions.

Differential Assembly
Differential casting mounted on trolley after washing. Bull pinion Shaft left and right fitted. Cage assembly fitted. It consists of: 1. Crown wheel. 2. Tail pinion assembly. 3. Roller bearing. 4. Bevel wheels. PTO shaft fitted. Rear axle/trumpet is fitted. PTO shifter assembly fitted. Gearbox assembly is fitted. Rear cover assembly fitted. Brakes are fitted. Parking brake. Suction pipe PTO cover Trailer hook is fitted. Angle bracket is fitted. Rocker link is fitted. Footboard is fitted. Clutch pedal is fitted.
The Differential has three jobs: 1. To aim the engine power at the wheels. 2. To act as a final gear reduction in the vehicle, slowing the rotational speed of the transmission one final time before it hits the wheels. 3. To transmit power to the wheels while allowing them to rotate at different speeds.
Gear Box Assembly
Gearbox housing mounted on trolley. Input shaft, Intermediate (Counter) shaft & lay shaft assembly. Output shaft assembly. Hi-Lo sleeve & planet gear carrier fitment. Shifter rods assembly. Steering assembly.
