(NASPE #5; MA CF 2.26; Throughout Lesson) Check each objective is it specific? Is it achievable? Is it developmentally appropriate? Teacher Performance Objectives During the lesson the teacher will: 1. Establish a positive relationship with the students in which they want to learn and participate and the teacher enjoys teaching. 2. Display his enthusiasm from the start of the lesson to intrigue the students and motivate them to participate. Special Considerations What are the safety concerns? What is unique about the students in this class? For this lesson, a major safety concern is how high the students bring up their sticks during gameplay. No slap shots will be allowed during this lesson. Also, students sometimes get a little competitive and aggressive with floor hockey so its important to make sure that students don't become too aggressive and attempt to hurt
anyone. The goalie needs to make sure that his or her pads and helmet are on correctly to prevent any injury while stopping shots.
