Review documents for Material Receiving. Identification procedure reviewed and implemented. General Requirements Materials shall be new and unused. Documentation for traceability reviewed and implemented. As Designed -Electrical materials shall be in accordance with the Saudi Aramco-approved project-specific design drawings, diagrams, schedules, lists, databases, and associated documents. Verify that the contractor or it's Saudi Aramco approved third party inspector performed the quality activities at the supplier and sub-supplier locations as required by the inspection level assigned for the materials and equipment identified in SAER-1972 Inspection Requirements. Free of Damage - Electrical materials shall be free of damage. All Incoming material shall be visually inspected for damage and conformance to all applicable Material Storage, Handling, and Preservation The CONTRACTOR shall include procedures for handling, storage, and preservation of material as specified in all applicable specifications, manufacturer recommendations and SAUDI Aramco's standards. Store material in a clean, dry location at temperatures between -40F and 140F (-40C and 60C).

Avoid areas where water accumulate or where significant airborne dust or dirt is present.

Store heat tracing material in raise above floor and possible water levels, and warp in protective plastic sheet.

Store heat tracing material carefully to prevent damages. Observe warning and stacking instructions on packing or shipping materials.

Heat tracing materials do not stack boxes that are partially crushed, even if the products are intact.

Verify that any event occur, such as a water leak, which could damage stored heat tracing material, immediately re inspect it and obtain replacements for damaged good.

Verify the protection of heat tracing cable, it should be provide for the ends of all heat tracing cables to preclude water entrance and migration in the heat tracing cables.
