PO2 Miranda Ramos testified about her involvement in a rape case reported by Karissa Montalba on April 28, 2013. When Karissa came to the police station distressed, Miranda took her sworn statement describing the alleged rape by Jose Paolo Monteclaro on April 27. Miranda prepared a police report and referred Karissa for a medico-legal examination. She then forwarded the complaint and examination results to the prosecutor to file criminal charges.
