Reflection

The student teacher describes their teaching day where their mentor teacher observed them. Reflection 7

Today is my teaching day, is when my MCT will come to observe me, I was a
little nervous, but I did my best, I did lots of different activities for children, first I
read a story for them, then I ask them few questions after the story, I call two
students to trace for me number 7 on the board then I ask the whole class to
write number 7 on different places like, carpet, air and their leg. Then I play for
them a song and do the actions of the song with them, after that I trans them to
do the activities in the corners, and I took one group to do a small activity with
them, when they finish, I did the closing in the circle time, and review for them a
little bit about the number, when the closing is over I gave each child a
worksheet to solve. I really did a great job in teaching a whole lesson for the first
time, the teacher liked what I did and that make me feel confidence and proud
of myself.
