ABSTRACT

This proposal addresses the construction of new comfort rooms in Mabini Colleges. The need for

its construction should be considered. The inadequacy and inconveniency of its location primarily

affects the students and the other members of the school community. Its main objective is basically

to increase the satisfaction of the targeted population. It is significant because it can help not just

the students, but also the faculty and non-faculty members of the school. The outcomes will include

the approval of the whole population, the satisfaction, and the increase in work. This will be

disseminated to the Sublime Torch distributed by the Mabini Colleges.

1
INTRODUCTION

Mabini Colleges is an institution offering and cultivating a culture of excellence and quality

education. It aims to transform students into: God-fearing, nation-loving, earth-caring, law-abiding,

PRODUCTIVE, and locally and globally competitive persons. Focus on the word PRODUCTIVE.

The school built high-standard facilities, but is it adequate and convenient enough for the whole

population? For the students to be productive, they should not be burdened. The location of the

facilities may or may not affect the students’ productivity. Its’ compatibility with the other

facilities next to it can greatly influence each one’s growth as a student.

Comfort rooms are built not just for the students, but also to all individuals involved with the

institution. Mabini Colleges’ main campus have comfort rooms located on the ground floor, (one

right next to room 108, which is for the male population AND one near the clinic, which is for the

female). Other comfort rooms, like the one located on the third floor, is closed and not functioning.

The school also have comfort rooms near the high school building, but it can be inconvenient

sometimes because of its location, its size, and basically, not everyone can use it. Some rooms,

like the faculty room, only allow authorized personnel to use it. The construction of comfort rooms

in Mabini Colleges should be considered because it is a must in every building for an efficient

work.

2
PROBLEMS / NEEDS

The problem to be addressed is the inadequacy and inconveniency of comfort rooms in Mabini

Colleges. The need for the construction of new comfort rooms, specifically on the second and third

floor should be considered. The target population is the overall population of the institution, the

students, faculty and non-faculty members. Specifically, the following are needed to be address:

• How does the location of the comfort rooms affect the students, faculty and non-faculty

members?

• What are the pros and cons of constructing new comfort rooms?

• Will the new comfort rooms satisfy the need of the targeted population?

GOALS/ OBJECTIVES

This project proposal will focus on the construction of comfort rooms in the roof garden of Mabini

Colleges for their students and employees. Specifically, this project will satisfy the following:

 To provide the need of the students and employees for a more convenient location of

comfort rooms.

 To avoid wastage of time.

 To encourage students to use the bathroom.

3
PROJECT PLAN

Provided below are the detailed information of the proposed procedures:

1. Gathered the specific details of the proposal for the construction of comfort rooms in

the second floor and third floor of Mabini Colleges.

2. Formulated a survey questionnaires. [40 Respondents- 20 Male, 20 Female]

3. The construction of comfort rooms will be patterned to the comfort rooms in the Mabini

Colleges main building.

EVALUATION

To evaluate the success of this project proposal, we will conduct a survey by using questionnaire.

The questionnaire will contain the following questions:

 Can the newly built comfort rooms satisfy your need for a nearer comfort room?

 Is it quicker now to use the comfort room?

 Does the new comfort room encourage you to use it?

These questions can be answered by shading YES or NO. Through this, we can obtain the

necessary information for us to know if the newly built comfort rooms give any differences.

4
DISSEMINATION

Students that have rooms residing on the second and third floor will not be hasty in excusing

themselves to class just to go to the comfort room. Students won’t miss some important details in

class during discussion because the time spent going back and forth to the ground floor up to the

upper floors will be lesser. Student will have better access of the comfort rooms. This improvement

will be written in the Sublime Torch of Mabini Colleges.
