Students will be asked to remember one new fact about MLK. After the video, the teacher will list the new
ideas presented by the students. Each fact will be assigned to each student in the class. The teacher will assist
the students in creating a podcast about MLK.
Students will be divided into groups according to the famous person they select. The group will research their
famous person, using a BrainPop video and other resources. The group will present their information
selecting the delivery mode of their choice.
 Reflective Practice:
To move this activity to a LoTi 5, they could publish the podcasts and other presentation to the classroom
website. The final projects could also be shared during Morning Newscast.
