1. ERGOMETRINE is not used nowadays due to side effects.
2. SUMATRIPTAN is used but only 2 tablets are to be
prescribed.
3. Directions for use: One tablet immediately after an
acute attack of migraine & repeat after 2 hours if
necessary.
1. The drug of choice for Amoebiasis is METRONIDAZOLE
not NORFLOXACIN
2. One tablet 400 mg to be taken thrice daily for 7 days.
3. There is supposed to be a signature at rhs bottom.
1. Since the question asks for an Injection, it is DIAZEPAM
Injection-2 vials.
2. Each vial 10 mg
3. Direction: 1 vial injection intramuscularly immediately,
repeat if necessary.
4. The positions of date & signature should be opposite i.e.
signature on RHS and date on LHS.
1. Rx to be written just below the name of patient.
2. No. of tablets is 36.
3. Each tablet containing 100 mg.

4. 4 tablets immediately, 4 after 24 hrs and 2 after 48
hours.
5. Add PRIMAQUINE each tablet containing 15 mg to be
taken once daily for 14 days from the start.

2. Direction: One tablet twice daily for 3 weeks
3. Signature and date on opposite sides

N.B. The drug of choice is OMEPRAZOLE 20 mg OD AC for 56
