Rodel Lolong waived his right to appear at subsequent hearings for Criminal Case No. 19143, in which he is accused of violating RA 10591. As the accused, Lolong acknowledged that under Section 1(a) of Rule 115 of the Rules of Court, he has the right to waive his appearance at trial. Waiver of Appearance

I, RODEL LOLONG y Federico, of legal age, Filipino and a


resident of Brgy. Dagatan, Lipa City, after having been duly sworn to in
accordance with law, hereby depose and state:

That I am the accused in Criminal Case No. 19143 for Violation


of RA 10591 pending before the Regional Trial Court, Branch 84,
Batangas City:

That according to Sec. 1 (a), Rule 115 of the Rules of Court, “xxx
the accused, may however, waive his/her right to be present at the trial
xxx”.

That I hereby voluntarily waive my right to appear and be


present on all subsequent hearings of the above-entitled case and
affirms that if my name shall be called, for the purpose of identification,
it shall refer to no other person except me;
