According to the Smashbox website, 'smashbox' is slang for a box-style camera used for quick snapshots. That's certainly a fitting name for a company that started as a photo studio, right?
Smashbox's name now takes a new meaning. The brand promotes itself as an iconic photo studio and cosmetics brand that's known for "empowering women everywhere to be their most kickass beautiful selves," according to its website.
And the cosmetic brand does just that and continues lives up to its history. Between iconic photoshoots and reliable products, Smashbox is certainly here to stay for more decades to come.
