Job Description
As a senior technologist in the APAC Equities Electronic Trading team within Citi Equities Technology organization, your role will involve designing, developing, and delivering Citis next-gen low latency exchange connectivity and DMA platforms. You will collaborate with various development teams, product development team, production support, and quality assurance to align closely with the global strategy. Responsibilities: - Work with various Development teams to achieve established goals. - Design, develop, and support the low latency trade execution platform using your in-depth knowledge and skills. - Collaborate with the business to enhance product development and reduce application latency. - Maintain and enhance testing frameworks, development tools, and environments supporting platform delivery. - Envision, design, and implement test cases for trading functions. - Drive Agile, Continuous Integration, and AI process adoption. - Ensure adherence to essential procedures, best practices, and contribute to defining standards. Qualifications: - 14+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 10 years in the Financial Service Industry, possessing strong technical knowledge and expertise in core Java (preferably JDK17). - Desired experience with FIX protocol or binary protocols for market access. - Proficiency in low latency software design and mechanical sympathy techniques for high throughput trading platforms. - Familiarity with microservices based architecture. - Previous experience in developing automated trading platforms. - Strong understanding of automated testing techniques. - Proficient in Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration processes. - Ability to prioritize tasks, set goals, and meet deadlines. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts in a multicultural environment.
