As a Litigation Manager in our real estate and construction company, your role involves managing all litigation cases related to real estate and construction, including civil suits, RERA disputes, arbitration, consumer complaints, land acquisition disputes, and regulatory matters. Your responsibilities include: - Drafting and filing pleadings such as plaints, written statements, rejoinders, affidavits, and legal notices. - Representing or assisting in representation in courts, tribunals, and arbitration forums. - Monitoring case progress, court dates, and ensuring timely filings. You will also be responsible for coordinating with external advocates and legal firms for specialized litigation support. This includes providing case briefs and necessary documents, reviewing legal opinions and proposed strategies, as well as monitoring and evaluating external counsels" performance and billing. Engaging in pre-litigation settlements and dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration, is another key aspect of your role.
