Job Description: HSE Officer (Wind Turbine Sector) Position OverviewThe HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations across wind turbine construction, operation, and maintenance projects. The role requires proactive risk management, safety audits, and training initiatives to safeguard personnel, equipment, and the environment. Key Responsibilities Safety Compliance & Monitoring Ensure adherence to local, national, and international HSE regulations (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA, etc.). Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments for wind turbine installation and maintenance activities. Monitor use of PPE and enforce safety protocols at project sites. Incident Management Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare detailed reports with corrective actions. Maintain incident/accident registers and track closure of corrective/preventive actions. Training & Awareness Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and refresher training for site staff and contractors.
