Key Responsibilities: - Manage the Global IP Network Operations Center in collaboration with relevant NOC managers. - Oversee Realtime and non-Realtime responsibilities of NOC technicians. - Facilitate the training and growth of NOC technicians. - Maintain and upkeep the NOC work environment. - Collaborate with NOC managers on projects to enhance capabilities. - Uphold the highest standards of customer service quality and experience. - Ensure operational excellence of individual technicians and the NOC. - Handle escalations and collaborate with internal or external parties for resolution. - Develop and implement process improvements. - Foster communication and cooperation within the NOC and with other groups. - Interface with external groups, including teleconferences and face-to-face meetings. - Determine hardware, software, and budgetary requirements for the NOC. - Set goals for employees and support them in achieving those goals. - Ensure timely participation and completion of companywide mandates/training. Academic Qualifications and Certifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology or a related field. Required Experience: - Advanced experience in leading a team within a similar NOC environment, preferably in a global IT organization. - Proficiency in the design and implementation of complex networks, including vendor management. - Demonstrated experience in engineering concepts and practices, network design, and transport implementation options.
